Behind the Name of the Parsha: Injecting Blessings.
Vzot Habracha means this is the blessing and is the final portion of the entire Torah.
The Torah starts with Bereishit and Rashi there explains that G-d created the world for Beis Reishit - for 2 things that are called Reishit: the Torah and us. The idea of Tikun Olam - for us to fix the world so to speak, through Torah.
The Torah then continues to outline how we are Mitaken - fix the world and infuse it with all those blessings, through Mitzvahs and the ways of Torah.
Until we reach the pinnacle of blessings - the portion of "And this is the blessing".
Interestingly, unlike all other Parshas which are read in Synagogue from the Torah on Shabbat, this is the only one which is read on a weekday.
Although Simchat Torah is a very special day, it still not as holy as Shabbat, as evidenced by the fact that many acts that are forbidden on Shabbat are allowed on the holiday.
So we see here 2 extremes.
On the one hand it contains the pinnacle of blessigs. On the other hand it is not read in Synagogue on the holy day of Shabbat.
This indicates the ultimate goal of Torah is to penetrate and uplift not just Shabbat, but also the regular weekday - to infuse the mundane sphere with blessings.
And not just any blessing. The parsha is called V'ZOT Habracha and this is the blessing. "This" incicates somethine visible. Something obvious that everyone can point with their finger and say this is indeed a blessing.
May G-d bless each and every one of us with the most amazing year ever, in best of health, filled with happiness, nachas, prosperity, success and an abundance of all good things! Where you'll be able to turn back and say wow, this was indeed the most blessed year ever!
