He is an excellent story teller. When he talks he commands attention and is interesting to listen to. He is also expressive and intelligent. He never skips a beat.
I love the way he says 'I says....' all the time, so funny. He said they just wanted to get some attention, well Blackie is so exceptionnal that in my opinion he didn't need all that stageplay to get attention. He already had everything, talent, charisma, he's a great musician and songwriter and one of the best singers of all times.
I was absolutely infatuated with Blackie growing up in the 80's, as i'm sure most women were, so much so that i wrote a poem about him and it was posted in a heavy metal magazine at the time. Always dreamed and hoped that one day i could give him the poem, but, alas, it wasn't meant to be...😢 He's very interesting to listen to, and i mean both singing and conversation...anyway, just thought I'd share that.
