I help train South African farmers how to work on tractors, everyone drives Mahindras but they call them “Jeep’s”. They are barebones trucks but are simple to work on. Just like the tractors.
Yeah, it's the reason they're preferred by serious offroaders here in India. They're narrow enough to fit through most trails and wherever there is a trail in India, a bolero goes through it regularly. Its the most ubiquitous light commercial vehicle in India for the reasons yku pointed out. Youre not gonna get replacement parts for a Jeep or a Toyota in the middle of nowhere here. But if there's a mechanic, he can fix a bolero.
They started out producing American Jeeps, and now, you can buy a Roxor in the US. They don't sell many, but there are a few. My local Mahindra tractor dealer has one as a runabout. Also, the E20 is cute. As is the Atom.
Except thar in india or roxor in US, mahindras vehicles are not copied.... Mahindra has official license to sell that thar design in indian market so nothing copying there
Mira Mira es una gran familia de Mahindras Magnificas! Mahindras Cosmicas! WOW! Congratulaciones a los ninos y las ninas humanas trabajadores haciendo no solamente mahindras con sus ideas y manos!
@@rumiupadhyay1770 yeah you’re right, but I didn’t understand why Roxor didn’t sell in India why US. Actually I really hate Mahindra vehicles but I have little bit impressive in Roxor.
Why isn't Mahindra selling vehicles in the United States? If this is such an SUV and truck hungry nation, people should love Mahindra trucks and SUVs!!!!
Are u serious..will Americans buy these ugly vehicles? I am an Indian and i must say all their vehicles except jeep CJ updates(we love it mainly because of nostalgia) sucks.
That's because all their vehicles were designed for indian conditions.they are reliable and can take abuse people throw at them.but their interior quality, exterior design are not good.even in India, most Mahindra's are in rural areas where road conditions are bad.urban people buy japanese or Korean or German cars.only their recent models like xuv300,marazzo can match its competitors in terms of safety and quality.
They tried in the late 2000s with a light pick-up truck. But regulations and dealership issues led to them cancelling that plan. They recently reentered the US market with commercial vehicles and a partially road legal ATV called the Roxor. There are rumours that they plan to return with new fully road legal cars in a few years, potentially with their Korean sub-brand Ssangyong.
Wasnt sure what to expect here, but i tell you what these guys give SsangYong a run in the wild styling dept....Some really neat product there.Time to come to UK maybe?
@@krishanuplays94 safari is from Tata, Mahindra savari was a stretched version of armada. it didn't sell very well, but was a popular people carrier in hilly parts of the country.
They licensed-produced Jeeps until Jeep was bought out by Chrysler in the 1970s. Their newer models are all designed in India, mostly for Asian markets, though the Roxor is sold in North America as an agricultural vehicle.
