If I'm not mistaken, Becker has 'keys' which one pushes in at the bottom to achieve exactly what you are achieving at 1:45 with the screwdrivers or dismantling the face.
The radio in my W140 has two slots in the lower face panel and I used radio removal keys for that but this radio has no slots for keys . The face plate just pops off, not a lot of work.
