This job can easily cost thousands at a dealer or mechanics shop. But, you can do it for the cost of a third party converter or two (I found the one in the video on eBay for less than $600/a pair). If you hear a rattling sound in your exhaust system as if a rock or loose metal is hitting the insides of the exhaust pipes as you drive AND event at idle, then most likely one or both of your catalytic converters are damaged. There are many other causes which I discuss in the video that can also damage a converter - with age being the number one culprit.
