W211 E320 SBC-Hold fussing when exiting the car when enabled 

This is a US E320 CDI with the SBC Hold option enabled (yes, it can be done) and the reaction the car does if you try to exit the vehicle with it engaged. Red warning in cluster, and horn starts beeping with increasing intensity.
