I know this video is a little dated, but thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I don't own that kind of antenna farm, but I can always dream of having one some day
For me an antennafarm like yours is also a dream. I am in the Netherlands, not much space for antennas, so I have to do the job with an Endfed. To work dx is not so easy, but from time to time I am lucky. GL es Best 73's, Ron PA3GBY
Nice video... the neighbor you mentioned is probably Bernie, W3UR (DX Editor). You must not be a contester, if so you'd have known the corvette owner, NR4M. Thanks !!!
Magnificent station !!! And, I just worked you in a contest. I am across the country running about 50 watts into a modest little dipole tucked in my attic. You gave me a signal report of 5/9. I gave you a signal report of 5/9. What do these reports say about my modest little station vs. your "Goliath Super Station" ? ....and by the way, my neighbors' home values didn't go down because they live next to an antenna farm.
Some of the big guns in Europe and Asia are much, much larger. Matter of fact. LPL's might just be considered run of the mill for some of the stations in Japan and Italy.
