​@@WAFishQuestOne seasick person to another, I hope it helps! (My folks and I went fishing in Alaska a few years back - I was good all the way up until the boat stopped. I threw up within the first 10 minutes. I was in this weird state of seasick delirium the rest of the trip but was lucky to catch two cod through it all; we had 12 foot swells and were bracing vertical against the railing through much of it. I didnt have ginger then, but I did on a separate, much calmer trip and was ok).

Well, keep in mind I'm a very skilled kayak halibut angler. All I need is a much better fisherman to peddle me to their coordinates, give me their rod, bait my hook, and tell me when to set. Pure skill! 💪

Yep! I get terrible seasickness. Only way I've found to beat it is multiple days on the water. Pretty common for me to barf/dry heave 5 or 6 times if I'm fishing hard.
