I'm glad the engineer sounded the horns for you! More of the GE/Wabtec teast drivers need to do that, especially if they're testing a unit with unique horns like the ones sent to India

Not sure why they decided to go for a “split horn” setup (K1L13 towards the front and a K24 at the rear) but it’s rather unique. Also the first time I’ve seen GE/Wabtec use an Ekyrail e-bell as opposed to the more typical Graham-Whites they use. Great video though!

These engines make Jetsons car noises, and the horn gives me Indian Railways vibes by the sound

So I assume that the GEVOs were in dynamic to simulate a heavy train, and were also used to test the dynamic braking power of the SD23's when pulling them back?

ANOTHER WAY TO RUIN AN SD40-2! THESE ARE THE MOST SICKENING SOUNDING LOCOMOTIVES I HAVE EVER HEARD! THESE THINGS LOOK EVEN UGLIER THAT THE BQ23-7 LOCOMOTIVES FROM 1979! THESE things SOUNDS PATHETIC! LOOK AT THAT PATHETIC RADIATOR SECTION! JUST PLAIN UGLY!

I love a friendly engineer, but was a bit disappointed that I couldn`t hear the diesel engines in the CSX units because of the horn blowing. Definitely looking forward to more videos!
