The Warning, although strictly not metal, are the most welcome addition to this festival - by far the most talented out of a lot of the newer bands - these ladies are gonna be huge .
Sorry Wacken, not for me. I miss all those serious metal bands, at least 1 per day, i.e. Megadeth, Judas Priest, Disturbed, Alter Bridge, Manowar, Ghost, Lamb of God, Sabaton, Gojira, Anthrax, etc...
I take it, who nows how long they keep doing it... As long as the other bands are still heavy..., in the Bullhead City Circus is always some space for you \m/
really nice line up once again... I did't expect Amon Amarth to return so quickly tbh... on a scale from --- to +++ Scorpions ++ Amon Amarth ++ Blind Guardian +++ In Extremo ++ Mayhem + Pain + Beast In Black +++ Blues Pills + Watain ++ Bury Tomorrow o Knorkator ++ Motionless In White + Unleash The Archers o Sick of It all - The Warning ? Red Fang - The Black Daliah Murder + Ankor ? Primordial ++ Flotsam & Jetsam o Xandria + Soil -- Emil Bulls ++ Vio-Lence - Wolf + Exumer - Vreid ++ Brutus ? Ignea o Future Palace ++ John Coffey ? Asagraum ?
The Warning is a Girls Mexican Rock band, nowadays are growing too fast. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TlOy0XbFVlM.htmlsi=AD_90G2b1G9fUhQ8
My recommendation to learn about the warning - Watch when they proved that rock is not dead at, of all places, the 2023 MTV MVA when they played "Evolve". The producer of this travesty of entertainment was reported to have just stood there during this performance slack jawed until he uttered the words "Holy Shit! I am a fan..."
A lot of anonymous bands, i've already saw Scorpions live six times, two times at wacken open air, once in 2006 and another time in 2012 under a heavy rain with a half meter deep of mud and a lot of puddles, but i enjoyed especially this show from 2012, in 2012 i also saw live Amon Amarth which is the most boring death metal band i've ever heard and saw, so outside of Scorpions there's nothing really here, but there is a lot of time till the next fest so things might change for the better, thanks for sharing the list.
I'm not from Germany but one thing i can say, i can't understand the german people, Scorpions is the best and greatest rock/metal band that came from Germany and also the most successful band and everybody love them all around the world but it seems that the german crowd is less into the Scorpions and more into lousy bands like Amon Amarth or Blind Guardian, to all the people who don't know Blind Guardian started as clones of Helloween, from the lineup lists of the last years at WOA it seems that some 90% of the bands are anonymous or lousy bands, i was this year at Sweden Rock Festival and i saw 22 shows in 4 days, there is less crowd and less bands than at WOA, but more famous bands to see, thanks for sharing me with your information.@acecourage1487
