Hi Lauren! You are so fast and the design is beautiful! Now I use more Wacom and I like it, it's much better for drawings, photo editing and such. But a lot of time I still need to use the mouse, maybe because I am using a basic version of Wacom. For example, it's not so convenient to do right click, I have to push the button on my pen. I have to use mouse to scroll on webpage as well, it's just harder to control with the pen.
Yess I was so happy when I saw this content in my email when you mentioned about a Christmas card challenge I’ve definitely been in the mood for Christmas a lot lately and been wanting to create my own Christmas card digitally and potentially one on paper. I personally like to draw on my iPad and then add the assets to the file in another programme. That way I can create assets with a bit more of a system. For example, I could just create three leaf variations and alter them later on if they don't fit what I wanted to do with them. But I often draw sort of a wire frame (where text should go and stuff) beforehand. I like both the mouse and Wacom version. The colours are interesting. And while the Wacom one seems more refined, the other has a bit more of an abstract vibe as the shapes get the same idea across, but aren't as precise, more jagged. The process of creating these is surely easier and preferable with a tablet though. 😀
Ha Ha, that was funny 😂 I suppose it's what you're used to using. On the mouse version, you can use the smooth tool. Both were excellent quick designs by the way 🤩
Hey Lauren can you do a separate video using InDesign when it comes to creating different typography effects such as the shimmer one please? Also thank you for creating and having the time to edit your videos with the content you’re sharing.
