I really wished these budget shoes were not overpriced here in Brazil. Most of them are too expensive to be considered "budget". Like the Gt cut Academy, it is almost the same price of a LeBron XX or a High-tech shoe from other brands.
@@booboo29407 i think so. Unfortunately, because of the price, buying even cheaper shoes is the way to go. Not saying that they are bad, but some people wont know how mid tier or high tier shoes feel like.
Similar to Australia. All these China brand isn’t that cheap and you can probably get a really good shoe for the same price at the outlet from the US brands. Which is really sad
Import tax should be the same be it a budget or sig shoe, so it plays a role in the overall shoe prices which one can argue are too steep in Brazil. But as far as his complaint about relative pricing between sigs and budget models, I don't think OP has much of a point... GT Academy's released in Brazil for 900 Brazilian bucks, Bron XXI for about 1800, so twice as much... That's not far off from the relative price diff you get for the US release of these shoes...
@@matta8508 From my perspective, we have to buy China brand shoes online since there isn't any/many Australian compan that sells them. So shipping will cost a lot so it's not worth buying them unless you know that it's a banger and can easily return it. For example this shoe may cost an upwards of $140 after all the shipping, tax etc etc but you can go to a Nike outlet and find a KD16 with 40% off which also equal to $140 or less. So the trade off for a "budget" shoe isn't worth the trouble which is really sad to be honest. In Australia you can probably get a signature shoe for $100 at times as well so it depends on what's available at times. Also for me, if I'm spending $100 for a budget shoe, I might as well spend an extra 50 bucks for a signature.

I ordered this shoes 3 days ago. I used it to play volleyball and its so light and the balck and yellow colorway is so cool. Thank god I have narrow feet...😅
As far sizing goes , I am a true 11.5 and I sized up to a 12 and it was too big. Two pair of socks and it was fine, but if you are in my boat with a long skinny foot. Go with the 11.

Even if the GOAT is swinging back, I’m taking that option, just to be in the ring with Ali would be beyond my wildest dreams. That man is my hero to this day. I guess that brings a question to mind: would you be willing to meet your idol/hero if it meant you had to get embarrassed by them as well? These are crazy lol. The traction is wild, rolled my ankle from too much traction. TONs of court feel. The cushion is light but enough to play in, if you add a move insole that'll be enough. The upper is light but supportive enough. And they're hella light. Only played in them once, but interested to see how they feel over time!
In this current market I think it's priced just right. Is it the best depends on the person buying and wearing them. I'm going with Ali cause Chan chasing me in a hardware store doesn't seem like a good thing

I guess just based on the fact that Ali was like twice my sizes and I don’t care to find out if I cash take a hit from him, I’d go with Jackie Chan chasing me……but I wish I had my youth like late teens to early twenties. Everything in Li-Ning is a half size off. Their shoe sizing chart does NOT match up with US shoe sizing. Even US companies shoe sizing varies but Li-Ning is way different. My normal shoe size is 13 and everything from Li-Ning fits me perfect at 14. I’m a wide footer and need to go full size up in Li-Ning. If you are a normal or narrow footer, half size up will probably be perfect for you. So if you wear 11.5, that means you’re either 12 or 12.5 for Li-Ning. It’s not a equal sizing fit with their brand to other brands.

@@GamingBros654 the traction is good same level as SOF1, I play in a rough cement court but for me it feels like my foot would burst out in my left lateral part idk but my SOF1 doesn't have that & it feels high off the ground 😐.

I’m gonna blow an ACL getting chased around by Jackie Chan. I get hit by Ali, I’m getting KO’d but at least I get back up and continue the rest of my day. Give me trying land a punch on Ali. As for the shoe, the dots on the midsole give me a Micro G kind of vibe. Why do companies take away the things we actually love (Micro G, Bounce, good budget performance)?

I return to watch some of the NBA playoffs some days ago after years of not being interested at all, and not sure if I was watching a playoff game cause those were slow so as funk and no team plays at all, everyone shooting 3 pointers even forwards and centers like shooting like crazy lol and of course not making the score, but oh well thats another story, the thing that grab my attention are the shoes that lots of players were using and for my surprise most of them didn't have ankle protection like most regular Basketball shoes should it have, and then I watch this video calling them the best basketball shoe, I was like WTF? , those are just simple running shoes, so Im really surprised the game , the basketball game has changed alot for the worst, there is a critical reason why basketball shoes should have always Ankle protection, and no this aint a Basketball shoe.
The reason is it was proven that the “ankle” protection in the old shoes actually didn’t protect anything so it was removed. You can find a lot of information on it but you pretty much don’t accomplish anything by using that old ankle protection set up and the new ones lock in your ankle/foot preventing injuries whereas the old ones just covered them and squeezed. Think of it as a wrapper vs a band aid
@@FlamesUp1602 not sure but maybe you never played basketball in general, but one thing is for sure as someone who did play lots games, small tournaments, city tournaments, street ball, etc, the ankle protection is a must!, who knows how many times I literally thank my basketball shoes in moments I thought I sprained my ankle, Im more like a powerforward or center , so my focus in my games were very physical while in the zone, and I see lots of friends, players sprained their ankle and it really hurts to see, most of the times this kind of injury happens are in rebounds, the today NBA is way less physical that in the past and thats reality, you can really see the NBA players played in a more safer way and they shoot way more threes, like everyone including centers(lol) that in the past, so no thanks who ever likes to play bball with running shoes be my guest lol :D
@@nexornator I think you completely misunderstood, new shoes have ankle protection they just don’t look the same as they used to. All of these shoes have ankle protection they are just low cut, I was trying to explain we don’t use the long ankle protectors anymore as they were proven to not provide any more support than a low cut pair.
