Reframed 360 video of one of my training flights before the world championships. The second figure went up to 8G. Hard work doing the Anti-G Straining Maneuver (AGSM) by squeezing the legs and abdominal muscles and doing the "locking throat" breathing technique. +8G was challenging coming from a resting situation as the body & heart were not activated yet. Especially going towards high positive G when coming from negative G in inverted flight must be treated with care as the heart starts to beat slower when the brain is flooded, and so a greater chance to lose consciousness. I do not have a particularly high natural G tolerance so learning these AGSM techniques were crucial to learn to fly on this competition level. 8G was a bit more than required for this figure, 7G would do well too, but I was able to handle it and that brings confidence.
