Wagering the RAREST Yu-Gi-Oh Cards in RISE OF DESTINY! Rare Hunters - Episode 13! 

Sorry for the wait everyone, but Rare Hunters is finally back! Hope you all enjoy this episode. We have a lot of cool things in mind for the next time, but for now: what's been your favorite Rare card in the series so far?

you guys should start a “sister series” of rare hunters where the excess cards are used. like Larry and Trell make decks from the scraps you didn’t use. Larry uses from Paul’s pile while Trell uses Alec’s(or vice versa). it’d be like when Joey/side characters fight instead of Yugi. maybe even have a coop duel using them.

I really hope the series continues on. You guys are great personalities and fun to watch play and the concept of the series is so good.

I hope there is a season 2. This series is to good to only have one more episode after this. been keeping up with each episode watching each many times.

Paul changing his mind and explaining magical scientist twice was hilarious

Sad to hear this series is coming to an end but I'm looking forward to the finale and future content.

I'm gonna miss this series so much!!! Might just be my imagination, but I don't think Paul is ever, this genuinely happy, entertained, etc...except when having these fun duels with Alec. Hope another series takes its place.

I was literally thinking to myself earlier today "It's been a little while now since the last rare hunters vid. Hopefully we get another one soon." then here you guys are with another great piece of content. Loving this series & hope it can continue on a while longer. It's been great seeing the sets, embracing the nostalgia but also seeing simple, enjoyable yugioh again instead of the fast pace we're all accustomed to nowadays.

I absolutely love the series. I would love to see maybe a GX and 5D era style of rare hunters, would be a lot of fun to see those kinds of games. Maybe bring a few cards from these episodes. Swords has been my favorite rare card since it’s bought so much time in so many games.

My day is always better after you post a new rare hunters episode! Keep it up. Excited for the finale😁

Please do this series again. It’s so good. It really reminds me how my friends and I used to play back in middle school. Perhaps you can do best of 3 per episode as well.

I really liked Alec's deck on this video. Nice to see he finally had useful light and dark monsters to back up that strategy.

I love how much fun you guys have playing yugioh together. It’s evident with the laugh you shared over the elementsaurus move, such a joy. Takes me back to just playing for fun as a kid, I think sometimes people lose sight of that with Yu-Gi-Oh in regards to meta, tournaments, etc. it’s got this feels of it being trying to be “serious business”. This series encapsulates what makes it really special, just being with friends and having fun. Thanks for taking me back to simpler times even for a brief moment. You guys sharing a laugh over that goofy move transporter me back to late night sleepovers with my friends it was like that scene in ratatouille when the critic eats the titular dish and is taken back to being a kid.

I love how you guys used Harpie's Brother in the Harpie deck, since it doesn't fit in as well nowadays due to the renaming of the card.

Rise of destiny was always my favorite set! I pulled the Creator and felt like a god. Especially as a little kid who only was able to get one or two packs per set! Nice video

We will miss this series. Hope you can find some way to continue it. Entertainment level is off the charts.

I know everyone (including myself) have said this but please by all means keep going with this series! Doesnt matter what format of YuGiOh, it's just really fun to see the progression, luck and overall feel of the videos. This has been my favourite RU-vid content in maybe years and that includes pretty much everything not just YuGiOh or videogame related.

Funfact if Bait doll destroys a Trap it doesnt go to the GY but goes back into the deck. Its at resolution so unless you negate it it should go back into the deck.

I’m sure this has been an expensive endeavor so I understand why it probably can’t continue but it’s been sooooo much fun to watch. I love that y’all went the extra mile for the physical card. You could’ve used ygoprodeck and it would’ve been perfectly fine but nah you gotta go extra 😊

This is my favorite series on the channel. If it were to come to an end, I would still watch but it just wouldn't be the same. I love these old cards and the old-school duels you don't see in the crappy modern scene.

Love the series hope it sort of starts of over or continues with future sets. It's been a big trip down memory lane

The series may reach it's conclusion, but the Team APS Saga will never end. One journey ends, a new one begins. Imagine having the voice actor of Marik from the dub give a message to Paul & Alec for being the best Rare Hunters.

It's just great to see Black Luster Soldier being a big game ending boss monster again.

That Black Luster Soldier play at the end was one of the coolest plays! You guys are always entertaining to watch

I loved that Homonculus and Elementsaurus play. Seems like he was made for that kind of stuff. I sort of want to make a Chaos Deck revolving around that gimmick now.

Yay! This series has been great! I can't see what else you have in store! These 1v1 games having to invent deck less-played strategies is really nice. I would love to see more series like this one (even if it's not pack opens) in the future!

I love seeing the ELEMENT cards getting unexpected support! It would be awesome to see them pop back again

This has really been the best YGO series and it might just bring me back into playing or at least buying cards again, looking forward to season 2 guys this spring and summer absolutely it's been a lot of fun to watch

Paul made a small mistake, saying that his Harpie Lady (1) had 1600 ATK with his Harpie's Hunting Ground out; Harpie Lady had 1800 ATK, since its effect also boosts itself. Good to see this got corrected soon after. And great series, duelists!

I know the series might be nearing the end of this part but please keep it up with newer packs and we love the series

It didn't occur to me until later that this series is slightly dependent on finding physical copies of the booster packs, so egg on me for not realizing this series can't have a set schedule

This was a really close one, I love the best of 3 now that there are more strategies swinging the pace of the game. Having ultimate rares of lower tier cards was something I miss from back in those days, getting a shiny copy of a card you like even if it's not that good was really cool. Although it is also a bit disappointing if the holo you pull is just a shiny version of a rare you didn't want

I do wish we got to see another appearance from a reprint set like Dark Beginnings 2. There were so many game changing cards we never got to see. But, on the other hand, I'm glad neither Rare Hunter had an excess of MST (Mystical Space Typhoon) or Raigeki type cards. Really did make the series a coin toss of who might win. The 'Best 2 out of 3' format is refreshing. Not sure I'd say every episode needed it but, glad it was included here, otherwise, the episode would've been a lot shorter. If you wanted to expand on that style, could continue the '2 out of 3' style with the inclusion of a side deck. That would give each player a bit of flexibility after seeing each others cards, ability to adapt and overcome. Love the series. Obviously, these packs are UBER expensive this day and age. But, if availability and funding is not an issue, love to see the series expand further with a Season 2. Maybe, if you did reach the GX era, you could start over and begin again starting with that era's cards (as many I know, including myself, did when the show came out) but, that is a question for a, hypothetical, future date. Keep up the good work, Rare Hunters, master Marik will be proud!

Like every other series I ever loved it all ends too soon. It was a fun ride while it lasted though! The Duel was very nice and I like that Paul loosed up and just had fun instead of focusing too much on the strat.

So excited it’s back, though I’m a bit sad to hear it’s ending soon. Such an awesome series guys!

Cant wait to see who is playing Master Marik. I Lowkey hopes its Prof i think that would be soo funny. This has been a very fun to watch. Keep up the 12/10 work you guys do.

Understandable to end it for now. Must already have been quite expensive especially considering what you get out of it. It says a lot that you guys were willing to do this and are making it clear that you want to bring it back. You’re paying out of pocket to make the content that you want and that you know we’ll love and it says a lot about all of your characters. Thank you.

Would be fun to see a season 2 where you do Gx stuff

It honestly would be so cool if you continued doing this series through all the sets to present day. I understand that the cost of some of the sets might get pretty high but if you do decide to pursue it I would 100% watch.

I love that the last episode will end pretty much on the last set I remember playing a kid. After that I dropped tcgs until Hearthstone (and then Magic) so it's a perfect last stop on the nostalgia train

This is why people love the original YuGiOh. You just came up with a combo that has probably never been played before. And found a use for those garbage Harpies.

Rare Hunter Standings: Paul: 5-8 Alec: 8-5 Alec grabs the win, and the Rare, thanks to his buff monsters and casually jogs through the wind monsters with little resistance. Congrats and I look forward to Episode 18!

Fun idea that could work in is that they can trade cards like Paul’s LV monsters for Alec’s harpies

What i liked about this duel, is that If Paul had destroyed mirror force, Alec would have used monster reencarnación to bring back the monk, Paul attacks woth harpies brother, and then with lady, finally Alec using delincuent dúo, Paul has no hand but has the field, could have been a very different duel just by that choice alone

Ugh, I miss this hobby. I’m so saddened I sold my deck _YEARS_ ago. I sold it for $100 out of desperation before ‘07. I regret it, it’s worth $1000 nowadays.

This was the last set I ever bought packs for as a kid, my LGS was offering a reopening special where you could get 3 packs for $6. I didn't get anything good but I do recognize a lot of cards in this video. Keep it up!
