Thank you for your instruction. I have just started again after a break of 28-years and I needed a few reminders. I have forwarded this to my nephew and his 2 boys as they have just started fishing. This is helpful to all of us. Excellent help.

Great series for the beginner, very well explained and you won’t go too far wrong by using Cadence quality tackle, start as you mean to go on. Tight Lines 🎣

These Cadence videos are well made and are great to watch whether you are a beginner or an experience angler, always very informative and no blatant Cadence product bash. Well done James, Chappy and Cadence Team. Tight Lines Steve Amison

That's great to hear David. Experienced anglers have to acknowledge that there are plenty of novices who need assistance. For the good of angling and its future, we all need to pass on good information and encourage new people to take up our sport. We hope you continue to be inspired. Chappy

Great vid loved it. I know how to float fish but it’s always great to watch these float vids as it’s getting rare due to modern carping and lure fishing getting more popular.

Nice video. Maybe inspiration to drag me of the river for a relaxing session on the local lodges.

Thanks just realised tip of my broken crystal waggler comes out so can use the colour tip I want in my other float! Saved buying another float.

OK mate, I've never fished before, but have just been given a 6.5foot spinning rod. My question is, could I use it successfully on a large river in winter?

With sensible end tackle and good bait, why not!! Could be worth considering a cadence Combo kit though to make things easier.

When tying your hook length with the figure off 8 knot, if you have to change your hook length how do you keep them the same length
@CadenceFishingUK
@CadenceFishingUK 4 года назад
paul liles Hi Paul, with this knot its not possible as you need to take some of the mainline to tie hookength on. Unless I’m fishing with a very short length of line above the float it doesn’t worry me! If it matters then use the loop to loop knot. Cheers James

Hi mate I'm just wondering, how come there are so many videos of people targeting roach and what seems very few people targeting rudd in comparison ? I'm from Ireland and have never fished in the UK , do you guys not have many rudd over there ? Rudd are a much nicer looking fish than roach in my opinion . Keep up the great videos mate , thanks a lot

Good point mate. Yes, Rudd are scarce in the UK...sadly. if you care to let us know via an email where you catch plenty of Rudd in Wire then we may plan a trip in springtime. Cheers. Chappy

@@ianchappytube I will do mate , I'll keep my ear to the ground and email you on a few good spots when I hear there fishing well . I'll send good tench spot or two aswel in the hope you'll make a tench fishing in Ireland video , I'd get great enjoyment out of watching that . Tight lines buddy
