Never apologize for how you feel about everything going on. I’ve been a nurse for almost 30 yrs. when I was young and healthy I volunteered for everything. Now that I’m older and have heart and lung issues, I’m scared to walk into our hospital every day. It makes me sad as I feel that I’m letting my patients and coworkers down, then I realize that I matter too. If people like you who are willing to do everything possible did not exist then this world would be in a much worse state. Thank you.

4condors he moved to Seattle for many reasons, most notably lower cost for rent since he’s always abroad, and also he is no longer working with the same creative groups that he did back in NYC. Last year in Japan he mentioned planning on staying in Asia for the long term, and I think this pandemic put him over the edge

I am so glad to see I'm not the only who feels about Covid the way that you do and not wanting to contract or maybe spread it as well. I'm already OCD and a germaphobe so that doesn't help either. However having worked in the medical field I know how easily things spread and how just one person with lax habits can mess up a whole slew of people. Thank you for being responsible and taking precautions.

Mikey, call the utility company and get them to install an automatic outdoor light. It's like $10 extra a month and it makes the outdoors look like a full moon every night. I grew up in the country and still live out in the boonies...the light is a must. BTW, I feel like too many people aren't taking the right amount of precautions so it's good to hear from someone who feels the same way.

As someone who may or may not have IBS, but who has all of the symptoms, I am thankful to eat vicariously through Mikey now, since my diet has drastically changed in the past few months. 😟 Frankly, I'm afraid to eat anything anymore.

@@kareninalabama If coffee and/or greasy foods give you IBS symptoms, you most likely HAVE IBS. The only silver lining is that there are IBS clinical trials throughout the country. Some are to try to CURE IBS. Some are to get rid of the abdominal pain associated with it. Some are for both. And they will PAY you to try to CURE you!

The Fruit & Cheese Platter on Alaska Airlines is my favorite Airplane food of all time. So simple, yet well executed. I've seen you eat some amazing looking things on planes, so you probably wouldn't be impressed, but for any other mere mortals here, don't skip it if you fly Alaska!

Little known fact. Sriracha 'rooster' brand was 4 or 5 times hotter in the 80s, when it was made from serrano peppers. They also made a jalapeno based sriracha similar to the current stuff, but it was brown not red. I only ever saw it in Vietnamese restaurants, which usually had both types on the table.

I moved Canada during 2001 and saw Sriracha only in Vietnamese restaurant. Of course, the first thought was a Sriracha is a product of non-North American but somewhere in Thailand or something.

I am a Southern Gal, as Southern as we come. I am from Central Louisiana near Alexandria. When Mike at the chicken biscuit from Fat's and I saw he had eat the entire top off of the biscuit and was still eating the rest without the top, it was hilariously funny. Pho Bac is by far the best pho in Seattle. They were the first pho establishment in the city. Until recently they were always in the little red boat building.
