I just got the PW-3 and it sounds great, but it is hard to engage/disengage, and there should be rubber or grip tape on top. The pot isn't scratchy or noisy at all
i have both of these, and your vid confirms what i could hear with my two, why cant you hear that the boss is sucking all the air and space from your sound ? slightly lower in volume as well, the boss one sounds compressed to me ?? where as the JD sounds wide open and alive. can anyone else hear that ? cheers for making the effort to showcase them, good vid.
Overall good comparison but....... I would have liked to have heard the Boss on it's other setting. I just ordered the PW3 after having a Crybaby, Vox, and Morley wah. I'm hoping the Boss holds up as good as it other products in terms of reliability and rigid construction. I'm tired of scratchy pots, misaligned sensors and wavering foot controls.
I agree! I keep putting off making a video that's just simply the PW-3. I usually keep it on just the one setting. In terms of sound: I think that the Boss will not let you down! Construction: It certainly feels like BOSS made a wah pedal lol... scratchy pots can still happen, though... it's just not an exposed potentiometer. Unless I'm missing something COMPLETELY about the PW-3 lol. You'll enjoy the PW-3, though! Cheers -Ryan
