Excellent compilation of videos. I am an avid movie audience. I think an artist is born. Art can be polished with exercise. Its not a skill. Art can't be learned over time with lessons, drill, or trial and error. Waheed Murad was a born artist; producer, writer, actor, director. He started his main lead career as a donkey cart man who loved his donkey, living in poor slum, with cheap clothes..so vanity had less to do with his sucess but alas his personal charm shone through and drove him to success right into people's hearts. I can write a lot but to complete in a nut shell...was there really a downfall for an actor who survived all kinds of lobbies agsinst him; leading ladies refusing to work, musician refusing to give music for him, directors refusing to cast him, writers refusing to write for him, movie magazines spreading false propaganda against him? I think his personality combined with his looks and his family background drove everyone jealous and envious around him; waiting and working to see him fall or falter. People are not kind to rich, educated, smart haves...Waheed Murad was still giving jubilees till the end. His last 2-3 years were difficult due to his health, his father's illness, death, his major surgery, leading to depression. The press was eager to call him off. I don't think zawal happened to him. He died, yes, due to choking. We may call it untimely, but we know that death is right on time and place, as destined by Allah. The sad part is that his family was abroad and friends deserted or were there any friends? Top is a lonely place. (My father was very successful in his career. He once told me, "when you reach the top, you should be ready to be alone." Waheed Murad should have moved back to Karachi. He was a karachiite. But these are all statements in retrospect. Life was destined to be like that. May Allah grant him the highest place in jannatul firdous and forgive his shortcomings. Ameen. P.s. you have excellent prints and songs from movies not avaiable on youtube like the ones from Andaleeb and those at 53 minutes. Can you please name that movie? Thankyou.
