On July 4, 2024, the 2024 World AI Conferene&High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance (WAIC 2024) commenced at the Shanghai Expo Center Banquet and the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition And Convention Center. The opening day saw participation from over 180 international guests from 55 countries, engaging in deep discussions on three key areas: global governance, industry development, and scientific frontiers.
