My single most favorite phrase uttered by anyone who finished the game is "WHO THE FUCK IS RIKU????"

The lack of voice acting for some scenes makes sense when u realies just how much dialogue there is in this game. It's actually insane just how long an average playthough is, you can't really expect everything to be voiced especially considering this is a JPRG first and foremost and not a visual novel like AI. It's honestly impressive that we get fully voiced side quests like the ascension quests in the end

Riku should now be in every future Xeno game for shits and giggles. Just there.

Just beat the DLC, and I can confirm that Riku is, in fact, just a common variety nopon.

The tank chain attack bonus isn’t getting an extra party member refreshed, it’s guaranteeing that the party member with the most Tp gets refreshed.

FYI, ending a Chain Attack with a Tank doesn’t give you another character, it makes the character you get back be the one with the most TP

I miss the heart to heart and i wish there were voice acting in camp interactions. I do understand that jrpg has alot of lines and dialogue which is a lot of work.

This was my first Xenoblade game( I STILL haven’t beaten it) I stopped for some reason I don’t remember and then got distracted with other games, but I really need to finally finish it. The insane class customization for you and your party members is what actually made me decide to take the plunge and try it out. Personally, I like how the characters are more serious than previous games. XB3’s plot (up to chapter 5) is pretty dark. Having a lot of goofy characters or moments would ruin the mood and undercut the more serious moments. Small edit: The affinity bonus boosts the passive stats you get after you free a colony.

Xenoblade 3 might be my favorite in the series

Loved this game. Improves the mechanics from 2 and now in the dlc we get to use our racecar boi once more.

XC3 is probably my favourite game of all time at this point, tbh. And to think it was dropped out of nowhere, fully polished. For cosmetics staying in all cutscenes: in Tales of Arise, even skits keep the cosmetics you have equipped and it can be quite comical. Looking back on Lucky Seven/Riku after the DLC is weird lol

18:00 he forgot to mention that if you can get the bar to 200% then you get THREE characters back, though you wont be doing that till very late in the game where you can get items so you fill up more of the bar or if you have a specific hero, the one that wants to die, also the point limit only activates sometimes, idk how it works honestly, and if the bar is at 99% then ANY class can finish it

Xenoblade 3 slaps pretty hard ngl. I will admit the game does taper off a bit by the end and doesn't carry that "Xenoblade Energy" all the time. But I still do think it is a wonderful game despite what I said. Its messages and themes really resonated with me. It genuinely feels like this is what Takahashi has wanted to say over the past few years, albeit maybe a bit less intense.

Small thing but Sena is not the tank, she’s actually the attacker. Which is weird because Eunie and Taion’s Ouroboros pair have matching roles so the rest being Tank and Attacker pairs feels odd

Eunie’s outfit you had on is a reference to a Xenoblade 1 outfit, and Taion’s is Jin’s, btw. And yeah, I don’t really mind the occasional sections without voice acting. JRPGs have a LOT of dialogue, I won’t notice or mind if they don’t voice act everything, since they do a good job of making sure all the important scenes are voice acted.
