Would you post the gps coordinates of where you camped\stayed, an itinerary of miles or something? To help those what want to try the C2C. Stunning views!
Heiii🤗 I'm just doing some of my last researches befor hikung this trail this summer. Do you remember the name of the valley, where you pitched your tent?
Heyy🥰 So the place we pitched on the first night, was in the valley between Dent and Blakely Raise, just before you get to Ennerdale Bridge, and the camp on the second night was on the alternative 'high route' up towards Red Pike, and we camped in the dip, just before climbing up to Haystacks😊 Hope this helps, you'll have such an amazing time!!
It would be interesting to know which 10 wainwrights you did because once you get to Red Pike then hike eastwards there are only 2 more before the 3rd one at Haystacks
Ahhh sorry, we didn't really explain, but it was our 10th Wainwright in general, out of the 214, so would've been our 2nd or 3rd on the Coast to Coast😊
Not quite😓 I must admit though, our feet stayed relatively dry alot of the time, but the times they did get wet and we were tenting, it was definitely a soggy socks day following😅
Someone told me to wring your socks out and sleep with them in your armpits and they will be nice and dry when you wake. I have never been game to try.
