The Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland Rotorua geothermal attraction was incredible. You have to go if you're here!
I had an amazing time visiting the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, one of the things to do in Rotorua, New Zealand. I think my jaw dropped on several occasions here. Especially when I saw the beautiful Devil's Bath green lake/pond, one of New Zealand thermal wonderland sites.
My friend and I planned on spending a couple of hours here. We ended up spending much more time than we thought. The park is huge.
If you come, bring an extra SD card for your camera. There are so many photos to take here. But the thing is, some of them are hard to get because of the steam rising from the geothermal features.
The highlight is the Champagne Pool, a colorful hot geothermal feature of the Waiotapu Geothermal Park.
What a great way to spend a day. I feel so lucky to have come here and wouldn't have even known about it if it wasn't for a friend familiar with it.
On our way home for the evening, we also stopped at #HukaFalls. I've never seen so much water in such a small place in my life!!
