As a drummer I can say this; that guy drumming is super impressive with how flawless he switches those 16th notes with his hands and all the other stuff as well without ever missing a beat or even seeming to have to Focus on what he’s doing!!! Raw talent right there!!!!
I love how you felt the need to preface your comment with “As a drummer…”, as if it gives you some special insight that no “ordinary” person can figure out. 🤣
That drummer is one of a kind. Never misses a beat when he’s doing all those tricks. And he is a smooth player who never gets off tempo. He’s fun to watch.
@@swingin_low two horns hell I can blow 4 horns at one time! From Both nostrils, the mouth, and my butt it's the loudest trumpet I have. Plus don't get mad I meant it as a joke I'm not being a smartaxx just making a joke!
the thing I appreciate the most about Rick K and the Allnighters is that they took the “this drummer is at the wrong gig” fame and completely rolled with it. they could’ve easily had an ego trip about Steve being the center of attention, but the fact that they heighten the experience of the show by utilizing the beast they have behind the drums. absolute class act this band is.
The thing I most appreciate about Rick K and the Allnighters is that I no longer hear them, as the video has ended. Soon, they will be expunged from my memory bank.
Here he is on the drums (Steve Moore, aka Rick K) the highlight on stage, and he is world famous for his special way of beating the drums, and he is damned good.
Medicore well a bit of back ground if Steve moore which is the drummer he used to be a heavy metal drummer. I forget the band he played with before this band
For those who don't know, the drummer was in The Office in Robert California's band lol. He also went viral years and years ago on RU-vid . I believe the video was called "This drummers at the wrong gig".
This is all part of the show. I know these guys aren't for everyone but they are very nice guys to work with. Very professional and a great sense of humor.
monotone and singing the notes flat at the same time.... the hole "not a recording studio" thing if you cant sing in this modern age we will fix it is post is ruining the industry.
That drummer has more talent in his hair than the whole rest of the band all together! The drummer needs to find a quality band with actual musical talent to play with.
Total showmanship, and really, Danny and The Juniors often did some funny bits in their performance of their classic hit, but these guys take it to a new level. Great show and that's what it's all about.
Yeah, it all part of an act . ...Fact is, the public loves wild drummers and this is not lost on them This drummer is not only wild . he is also a great time keeper and never drops a beat
*The lead singer has about as much talent as an electric yo-yo without any batteries. Why did the bullies in his high school fail us and let him live???"*
Man that lead singer has ZERO passion, there is no life whatsoever in his performance. Its just an act for him and all he is thinking about is the check that he gets when its all over. Sad.
I think you nailed it perfectly. I would never play a classic like that unless, by the end, I was sweating from an all out performance! I do like the schtick with the drummer at the end, pretty good. Good God, if I had to watch 2 hours of that I would start drinking..
In all the crazy antics, his consistency in timing and dynamics is like a drum machine. He's no slouch when things call for some more adventurous drumming either. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ajxwEh56RkQ.html
@@jameswilliams7059 No. He's an ok drummer. I've seen the Wipeout video. His time is bad and his playing is stiff. Wipeout is one of the easiest things to play; every junior high drummer learns it. Or at least they used to. Anyway, he's not that great. The actual drummer is definitely the talent in this band.
I won't lie I totally was annoyed when I 1st watched this but after seeing it a few different times I have to admit dude has serious talent and is extremely enjoyable to watch. He has his own shtick that's for sure!! Well done!
Singer needs to learn some basic breath control, but the real villain here is the sound guy - one of the worst mixes I've heard for the style and for this type of venue - particularly the backing vocals - better than a pocketed iPhone, but not by much.
Now there's two kinds of Rock N Roll 1. The kind of Rock N Roll which is filthy, greasy and dangerous. 2. The kind which is family friendly, safe as a nun's underpants and clean as a whistle. I'll have the first kind any day.
I recall Charlie Watts giving Mick Jagger a nice right hook and Keith had to save Mick from falling twenty stories out of their hotel window into a canal in Amsterdam.
It's weird that no one seems to interpret this whole performance as the piss take it so obviously is? Every nuance of this, from the poor vocal delivery to the random ibanez micro guitar is so obviously one huge gag. Why does noone see it?!? 😂
They do it all the time…and the fact that people can just simply search it they’d know smh….our world just gets dumber even when we have every resource at our fingertips 🤷🏻♂️
That was actually rather comical. They are just playing to an OLD Rock 'n' Roll trope of the drummer being an animal, sometimes even called "Animal." Even the old Muppet Show embraced that trope, for humor.
outre sa classe en tant que batteur , c'est un comédien comique hors du commun. je me suis marré un bon moment. Bravo et merci pour ce moment de plaisir.
J. D. Ooooh you so tough. More than likely you're one of those liberal crybaby bitches kind of funny how you single me out versus everybody else that says this guy can't sing goes to show what you know you fucking with a bitch
J. D. No your just lame. You real don't have a clue about anything really. See I know for a fact that your lacking in everything. IF You and I were in the same room you would never say the things your saying now. No your tucked away safe and sound hiding behind a keyboard thinking you're so great and you're so perfect we have a lot of insecurities about yourself you call me a faget you called me fat you say things about my mother great it just shows how lame and pathetic you really are and I guarantee you if we were in the same room and if you dared open your mouth the way you're doing now I don't give a fuck about jail time or prison time let that sink in because threaten me with anything only makes you look worse and put you in a very very bad spot but I think JD stand for Jackass Dick.
These guys are great. Excellent musicians and entertainers. They played at Knoebles Grove many years ago and always were goofing off and making people laugh and sing!
I’m in a band. I once fired my lead singer in the middle of a set. Told him several times being late and showing up stoned/drunk wasn’t going to cut it. He did both. Then got up on stage (finally) and forgot words and insulted people in the crowd. I said “give us a quick minute, having a malfunction up here”. Turned to him and told him to get the fuck off MY stage, he’s fired, and don’t make me kick his ass in front of all those people. Finished the last 6 gigs for the year without him. Band morale improved dramatically.
You know it. Given the choice between someone auditioning for my band that is the best around, but an asshole, and someone else who is really all I need but a great person, go with great person. 38-40 shows a year with someone you’d rather strangle than look at isn’t worth it. I once, right in the middle of a rehearsal) packed up my things and left without a word. By the time the other guys put it together what had happened, I was the new lead singer for another band. Life’s too short for assbags. I hate drama and conflict.
Hahaha man that was awesome! I was thinking he was just a showoff dude, but I couldn't be more wrong! What a great chops and solid timekeeping. Even when he gets smacked upside the head! Laughed my ass off!
I'm sorry I don't know your name but I love the way you take this music and take it to a new level. Your energy is great. Without you drumming I don't think I'd be interested in this video.
