I'm liking this game so far but it's hard to not notice the things it takes from botw as I play lol, which is fine because more of something I like isn't bad

I honestly like other companies are making “BoTW styled” games cause it really demonstrates how that game impacted the industry and how it’s mechanics and art-style an really improve other games
@@InitialFailure there's literally different mechanics between the two games and different stories. All open world games have similar details you could say are ripped from each other because they're from the same genre
@@ladyshaylala3870 and there's literally more copied than not between the art style, climbing and gliding, powers like magnetism, the world builds etc. Kinda like a BotW sequel build in it's Alpha stage that was renamed... like I said. It's fair to disagree sure, it's also ignorant to not note a rip-off when it's staring you in the face lol. This is not a mere similarity of genre, this is akin to what is seen in the firearms industry called "clones." You can have say a Bersa thunder that is in the same genre/class (blowback operated, semiautomatic, compact pistol) as the Walther PPK but it goes farther than that; the Bersa is literally a copied PPK with only slight variations that now make them allot more distinguishable. Fenyx Rising is to BotW as a Thunder is to a PPK. It might go off in it's own direction eventually but right now, it's a clone Lady.

I didn't say it's a good or bad game, I said it's a rip-off or clone because, well it is. I'm sorry reality is bothering you and some others but for better or for worse, this game is a BotW clone. Maybe someday it'll be it's own game like Saints Row eventually was along with others. Right now, it's a BotW clone.
I love how Ubisoft is like soooo chill. I am a very small content creator from Belgium with like minimum views and followers and they still want to collab with me and send my game keys/stuff. In my country they are legit the nicest gaming company you could ask for. They believe in small creators and want to give them a chance. I love to see them being chill to big creators too. SuperMLGo haha same with me,, zelda is almost perfect for me, but the weapon durability is annoyed me, when I get a new good weapon, I prefer keep it so it don’t break 🤣🤣
That's a major negative for me because it gave the player a short term reason to explore as well as a long term one and created interesting situations where you'd have to get by without them or avoid combat for a while. The less you horded weapons in BOTW, the more fun you had with them, so what I want to see most is how developers can find a way to keep players from holding on to their weapons instead of just smashing them left and right and having a good time.
@@garyfairhead3186 I hated it at first but thought about the fact that all the weapons are just about 100 years old so I imagine they are close to worthless given the time, but I completely understand what you’re saying.
@@theeOnslaught but not a single tree, landscape or rock changed in 100 years. So I avoided most fights and only used bombs, over and over again. Making the game so boring. Until I got to a few places to grab the same weapon over and over again across my play through. If weapons should break, have them last about 20× longer.

Great game, definitely in the top 20 games I ever played. I just wish it had towns and NPCs. I feel really alone when playing it when I'm really immersed.

@@lucylu3342 Sakurai said that he will not make another Kid Icarus game. He said that his focus isn’t there anymore, and if someone wanted to make another Kid Icarucs game, they would have to do it and he would not head the project. Pretty sure that’s in an interview somewhere but I might be wrong
I’ve only put in 5 hours into this game but it’s amazing, I love the narrators and I found it hilarious when Zeus said, that’s only the prologue! It’s got like a Deadpool charm to it crossed with Zelda BoTW!

I’ve been playing this game since Christmas an I’ve already freed Aphrodite an Athena an now I’m on ares. This game is addicting an I LOVE IT! I’ve spent hours doing the puzzles an vaults an it’s been fun an non repetitive cause the puzzles an vaults are all different. Definitely a worthwhile game to get. I’ve been playing on the switch an it’s smooth also
Geralt: Hmm. That’s normally how all DLC and expansions were handled until games as a service and micro transactions...which this game is full of in true Ubisoft fashion...became a thing.
It's pretty rare I find a new IP now that gets me interested but this game looks really good. Seems to solve the issues I had with BotW. No fast breaking weapons and it actually has a skill tree that feels like your character gets stronger instead of just better gear.

Gamers now compare every open world game with cell-shaded art to BOTW. Fenyx is quite different. Tbh I never got into BOTW bc its combat & shrines bored me (I'm never a fan of slow puzzles). I prefer other Zeldas, like Links Awaking which is also on Switch. But surprisingly I loved this Fenyx game even tho I didn't expect much. It's like a God of War "junior." The main similarity to BOTW is the shrines

I swear this has been the game I've been waiting for for years. Not specifically Immortals but this type of game. Ever since I beat BoTW I've been waiting for a game similar to it to release.
It's really difficult to trust any of these youtubers rave reviews of this game given they are being paid by Ubisoft. I would just like an objective review.
I bought it, I like it a lot. Its basically BOTW without weapon durability and an overpowered bow It feels to me like what a good kid icarus game could be
I had so much fun playing this game... I spent more than 70 hours to explore most part of the world and, considering I got the game on the Nintendo sale, it was definitelly a great deal for me. Sometimes I would spend literally hours just collecting lots of pomegranates, at one point I had more than 400 with me 😅

reallly seems like a copy of botw... like way too similar. edit: holy cow i’m at the part about the gods and their abilities. strangely similar to the different champions and how they also give you abilities when you help them. you mentioned you got the ability to come back to life after you die... sounds like the fish lady’s ability. exact. copy.
Couldn't be happier about it tbh. BOTW had many amazing aspects that for me, and I'm sure many others, were butchered by lack of combat mechanics when it came to melee weapons and the terrible weapon breaking system. This game seems to take the great parts of BOTW, made it prettier, let you make your own character, and threw in an extensive ability tree with fast paced combat. I'm so happy to have a game like BOTW that I can enjoy!

Please talk about SAKUNa: of rice and ruin. It’s an amazing switch game that everyone should know about. It’s CHEAP, so makes a great Christmas present game. Also it’s voice actor is the same as misty from Pokémon.
I'm so glad equipment don't break in that game! I was scared it would be a thing because I hate when games do that, and Immortals looks so great, I didn't want to have my experience diminished by having to constantly replace my stuff. I just picked up my preordered copy, I can't wait to start playing! 😁
Unpopular opinion but i think Fenxy is better than Botw in many regards. I am enjoying it more than i did Botw which was already one of my fav games on switch.
I actually kind of like it on switch. Some of the puzzles are kind of hard for me to figure out but I don't play many games that require puzzle solving and the fact that there's no weapon breakage, it's already better than botw and I'm only about 6 hours in.
I actually just deleted my file and started over a couple of days ago. 😄 I'm having fun. I've been watching Dee Bee Geek first run through of BOTW and it inspired me. He also just started KH! Which was funny.

Me: Cough Cough 'Champions Abilities' Wood: And the thing with Aphrodite is she gave me this ability that allowed me to come back to life one time before dying.
