Rod Stewart has eight children, all of whom he’s enormously close to. The oldest was born when he was a teenager (she was given up for adoption)…and she looked him up later in life. His daughter Kimberly (by his first wife Alana), has said in many interviews she cherishes her relationship and FRIENDSHIP with her dad. She also is the mother of Rod’s first grandchild. He’s said his favorite role in life is Dad!

Great reaction. My wife (according to her) is Rod Stewart’s BIGGEST FAN, so at times there is a lot of his music going through the house. Rod has some great recent songs to, released from albums after he done his American Song Book albums. Some of the songs tell his story of how he got started in music. “You Can’t Stop Me Now” is a great example of this. Once again, great reaction, thanks for keeping the music alive.

You need to hear his song "Forever Young". It's a song from a parent to their child. It's beautiful. And I really like "Ooh La La" the video from 2014 is good. And he is SIR Rod Stewart now.

For a fun and funky song by Rod Stewart (he dabbled in disco in the late 1970s), I recommend "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy." It was a No. 1 pop song in the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K.

The grit in Rod's voice is also great with rock. Check out "People Get Ready" an inspiring collaboration with legendary guitarist Jeff Beck. Other upbeat rocking songs "Hot Legs" (banger), "Passion", "Young Turks", "Infatuation".

You have to go back a bit further in time and check out Maggie Mae, Mandolin Wind or Every Picture Tells A Story. These are classic Rod before he became Rod the Mod. Ronny Wood adds all the right touches in these songs.👍🏻👌🏼💯

"Sweet Sweet Connie" Hamzy, groupie made famous in the Three Dog Night song, was interviewed many years ago on some tabloid show (it may have been Inside Edition) and asked of all the musicians she had been with, which one had the biggest "thing". She answered, "Without question, Rod Stewart." Whenever I see something with him in it, I can't un-remember that.

Back in 1967, Rod Stewart was the lead vocalist in the Jeff Beck Group. That's when I first became aware of him. They recorded a couple of albums..."Truth" and Beck-Ola." Ronnie Wood was also in the band. Good stuff.

Please please listen to Billy Joel's Vienna. It's one of those songs that you listen to a million times but never means anything until it applies directly to you. Something tells me that with all the blessings of a new baby and balancing the stress that goes with it, you will find some comfort in this song

Rod is another singer who just oozes sex appeal with every note. This is actually my favorite song of his based on things going on in my life at the time. I also love "Downtown Train". If you want to do a three in one you should check out Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams and Sting singing "All For Love". It is a beautiful song and is here on RU-vid. I believe there are two versions one has just the song and the other has them arriving and getting set up. I can remember Rod showed up all dressed up with a scarf and spats and Bryan and Sting were in jeans and T-shirts. I think Rod might have been married to Rachel Hunter at the time and she was there with him. It is a fun video and the song really shows their beautiful voices together.

Not too far from the sound of this one, I guess, so you might want to check out Willy DeVille (of Mink DeVille). His "Who shot the La-La" on Victory Mixture (1990) is nice, but "Empty Heart", and also "All in the Name of Love" on his album Backstreets of Desire. I can't even remember his hit with Mink DeVille now (but I loved it at the time. Age, I guess... :P), but those three I mentioned first are wonderful! R.I.P. Willy!
