As someone who loves the eldrazi’s and cannot wait for the precon I’m excited to use Kozilek’s Unsealing with Equilibrium and any spawn/scion generating creatures.

Triggers on cast and not on ETB is eldrazi thing. Thats how this tribe always worked. Its nothing new and its no change in wizards card design.

There are a few with ETB triggers, but those are the exceptions.

That new Eladamri is absolutely going in my Yisan the wanderer bard deck. Sure, it's a great commander by itself, but it near perfectly solves one of the major issues of a Yisan strategy

Turn 1: Land Llanowar/Elvish Mystic Turn 2: Land Warmaster - > Heritage Druid ->Eladamari Turn 3: Summoner's Pact Craterhoof, Cheat Craterhoof, Swing for leathal.

At 12:10 I can path your commander on the stack to make the top of your library no longer the card you are looking for.

If you can look at the top card of your library at anytime then you would know before you use the activated ability if you should.

Blame Eddie for a new Eldrazi strategy I want to use: Scion and Spawn focus. Forgot the name, but it's one of the new 5 color Eldrazi Legendaries. Before, Spawns and Scions were fodder. Now they're a threat of killing boards.

kozilek's Unsealing will slide right into my Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm deck. Plenty of 4 through 7 mana value creatures in that deck.

I have a simic Eldrazi deck that focuses on drone and spawn tokens. Im really happy they are printing more eldrazi token support creatures.

as an Elf Johnny, I will likely never run Eladamri as the commander. But putting it in the 99 of Claw Ezuri, or Bant Gladrial, now we are talking. as long as I am building elves and have access to blue, this Eladamri will be in consideration.

It's actually so nutty. Its an auto-include in my brinelin/gilanra partner deck. I mean, even if you hit the 7+ drop ONCE, it's worth it.

@@BuckysKnifeFlip That’s why I want eldrazi to come back. I played E-Tron & GR/Tron during eldrazi winter and still prefer both decks to this day even though e-tron is tier 3 now.. Admittedly Eye of Ugin was way too powerful with T2 thought knot seer, hopefully this set will drop some cards to bring E-Tron back into some sort of relevance.

Or just as a sorcery. It seems like it's just begging for the "declare attackers, wait for blockers to be declared, put craterhoof in" line. Even works with worldly tutor during combat. Has potential to win lots of games, but seems kinda boring.

Well it is Modern Horizons. The in between of the first two sets was arguably the biggest era of powercreep the game has ever seen. I don't know if we can survive another Throne & War of the Spark.
