The rhythm section sounds funkier than when Bruford sat behind the drum kit. Not sure if that's a reflection of this being a totally an American group or if they're just trying to do it slightly different. Regardless I'm digging it.
@@DKStanford definitely a bit funkier and it’s sounding great. Vai is also a bit looser and more melodic than Fripp which also gives the music a refreshing new feel.
