Eric proves there is a divide in country music. There is a pop side that most are headed towards, then theres Eric's side where he's preserving those true country roots. This man is a God given genius.

Eric Church is a lyrical mastermind. No one will ever touch his style of writing, performing, or recording.

The greatest country artist that has ever lived...if you see one live show, see an eric church concert...i don't care if you hate country music....you will love this dude!

Eric shows how diverse he is with all his different styles of country music, he is pushing a lot of boundaries, and I like it. He is an Outsider!

I dont know about all ya'll but I have been wearing my church choir tshirt under my clothes for a solid month now. I cant wait anymore. Eric Church rulz my world.

Love it, he is, in my opinion, one of the best singer songwriters in the business right now. He sings with emotion which makes you really feel his music, I listen to his stuff everyday and don't get tired of it, it's ageless. This song sounds extremely country to me, sounds old country, like a Merle or Maybe Johnny Cash song. Can't wait to hear more!

Yup took a buddy who doesn't really like Country and was jamming out the whole concert thought it was the greatest thing ever. I've seen him 3 times going to see him a 4th next May. Once you see one you'll never want to stop. Best Artist and Best Performer we have right now!

I'm not sure what 'coming unplugged' signifies however this song brings up Erics struggles with alcohol and there is a short scene in it where it shows a hand lifting up a glass of whiskey and revealing a lot of terms like 'angry' 'nightmare' and 'tough' which are ways maybe the alcohol makes him feel or effect him. When the hand sets back down the whiskey glass it's set over the paper clipping of the words 'the good fight'. As in, the fight to give up alcohol. He wants to stop for his family.

There are definitely divisions in country music. But I wouldn't go as far to say that Eric Church is "preserving those true country roots." Yes, he sings about being an outlaw and might use a steel guitar every now and then. But his style is more rock than anything. Love him, though!

November 6 is the CMA awards and he's scheduled to perform so you're probably right about the new song. Can't wait.

I've never experienced music like Eric's before. Every single song he's ever written sends chills down my spine every time I hear it. He tells stories that hit you deep as a person, and connects to you like no other. That's what music is all about.

One of my favorite movies is" MAN ON FIRE," staring Denzel Washington, based on a true story and real events. Eric's lyrical content and sound would have been perfect for this movie!

I've been a fan since somewhere between Sinners Like Me and Carolina, and I have to say.. Something is going on with Eric.. Not sure what exactly.. But definitely something.. His music has changed so much.. I love listening to everything he ever recorded BEFORE Chief. Seems like he got caught up in the lights during Chief and is starting to have some different thoughts or doubts about things now.. Sinners Like Me and Carolina matched my life perfectly.. Still a fan, no doubt..

Well Chief has a history of releasing acoustic versions of songs from an album before it's released (ie. Like Jesus Does and Carolina). Unplugged might mean we get an unplugged version of a song on Monday and then he plays it on the awards show Wednesday.

I love me some EC! He is his own man and has his own style and that is what has made him so successful. After 5 concerts in the past few years, I was disappointed he was no where near Memphis his year. Starting to have EC withdrawls....so i was very excited to see the new material and new album coming soon. I cant wait to see what all the clues and these short videos are leading up to!

So much said about style and if it's country or rock. Waylon Jennings, David Alan Coe, Chris LeDoux, Johnny Cash, Johnny Paycheck, Kris Kristoferson, BOCEPHUS, the list is endless of the artists who've heard the same thing. Were they country? Damn right they were. Amazing artists, songwriters and entertainers so I'd say Chief is in great company.

After dissecting the video some, what I gathered from all the comments that were starred or crossed out, is that Eric writes his own music and appears to be an outsider because he isn't like everyone else a.k.a. Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan who sing the pop songs that these country song writers are writing now that have no soul or real meaning. With that being said, a comment was crossed out to make it clear that Eric does not have an alcohol problem, as some may have gathered from this song. Also the words, "unplugged" and "The Good Fight" are not hints at song titles, nor have any association with the title of the CD. The dates pinned in the first video are important hints as to the release of new information, hence the "unplugged" term. The comment that was cut out and pinned to the wall was one that was right about November 4th and Eric Church debuting "The Outsiders" at the CMA's. Keep these video's coming! Looking foward to gathering as much information as possible as we all anxiously await February 11th and the release of The Outsiders!!! Can't wait!

There is a hidden riddle in this pay attention to the calender that hes "stringin you along" on. "moment" when they made the video (Oct. 29) "unplugged" when he announces, "the good fight", (Nov. 4) Nov. 6 when he releases the song and its called "the good fight. It's a guess but i know he would do something crazy like that
