yeah in my country u usually dont need tips since the job should pay for you instead. tipping someone would be more of a sign that theyre actually good at their job instead of a mandatory thing
@@frenchie5047 so you are a dick if you don't tip anybody else? waitress isn't the only job that is paid badly you know. I preffer to save that money for people who asks for money on the streets,. specially retired people, who in my country are paid VERY very bad and need to buy medicine
First I saw pancakes and now this the story connects and pancakes (thumbnail) then it reminded me of wander over yander but it felt SO DAMN FAMILIAR AND IM NOW CONNECTED THE PUZZLE PIECES if you came from "nobody in wander over yonder was straight 🏳️🌈 😍✌" video lol edit: I commented on the video title shown if anyone gets confused lol because the thumbnail looked familiar and then it just y'know clicked in my empty brain which made me feel gay euphoria after watching this and pancakes makes sense to me now/reminded me of wander over yonder
Wow... ok. 1.- How did you meet your boyfriend? 2.- And what do you do to keep your relationship with your boyfriend alive? 3.- Why are you a night shift custodian? 4.- And why is your boyfriend a casino night guard?
@@HikaKitten yo thanks for bringing me back to this video :D !!! totally forgot about it also yeah your right completely missed the phones i guess I was only looking at the outfits 2 years ago lol
Well, for a few times, I did think about the sexuality of the non-heterosexual characters being myself bisexual and seeing this kind of realistic representation for the first time. Maybe our upbringings were different. Besides, I come from a country were homosexuality is legalized and even protected from discrimination by law, but we have no gay marriage yet (besides, there are still many homophobic people in my country and I haven't seen this kind of representation before, so... yeah, seeing that and personally, I even felt that the events were mucho more like a fantasy instead of a reality, you know? Sorry, I live in a third-world country), so... Yeah, my case is different from yours.
@@jmrabinez9254I hope you make it out one day. I agree it's good to remember you're not alone in being queer. There are many of us, there always has been and there always will be.❤
OH! Holyshit! That last little scene took the breath out of me! Omg, mate, you can't go around giving heart attacks like that! Your animations are stunning!!! Like, pretty much all of them!
This is SO precious and wholesome! The style is very cute and the landscape has a big professional look! I'm so glad I've found this and I hope to see more from you! Keep up the good work!!
In less than 5 minutes, this animation tells a complete, sweet and entertaining story. I would rather have 30 mins of something like this, than the hundreds of low quality shows that Netflix keeps pumping out every year.
I felt inspired to watch this again after reading some of your recent comics, and man. The way my heart always feels so floaty at the end never gets old
A friend of mine just shared this with me and it is wonderful. Coming just hours away from NYE into 2023 here in Western Australia, thank you and everyone involved for making this.
This was so sweet and wholesome!!! I'm literally crying right now!!! Life is so stressful and constantly puts added pressure on people who don't get compensated enough for their hard work. It's nice to just say fuck it every once in a while and spend time with people you care about, especially if it's a significant other. Outstanding work!! You all should be very proud of yourselves. ❤❤❤
Aww the sleepy boyfriend is so cute, and he acts like a literal cat. And the way he literally couldn’t sleep until he celebrated with his boyfriend. ❤❤❤
This is so cute. 😭 I want someone like this. But it's so hard to find a guy like this in gay community. The story is so sweet and wholesome. Hope to see more of your work in the future. People need to see more representation like this to normalize gay relationships so they are seen as just a relationship not some kind of sinful, exotic thing. Keep up the good work! :)
@@killerking1966 Eddie and Asher, Eddie's the big guy with the fluffy beard and Asher's the slim guy with the cut. its proved in another recent short "pancakes" btw EDIT--- oh no fuck their names are nick and matt my bad (its either tho since they look the same)
@@oppurtunistlover Either way, they deserve being happy and I think they may know each, since in Pancakes there were some gay dudes, it is possible the guys from this animation were in there
"People need to see more representation like this to normalize gay relationships so they are seen as just a relationship not some kind of sinful, exotic thing." Why do you say so?
@jmrabinez9254 Well I realize that the gay population is guessed to make up 10% of the population which seems like a low number, but if you consider of how many people that actually is it's still alot. But since it's a minority group in terms of the collective I feel like it gets stereotyped to either be this sinful unholy thing, or a novelty of sorts like the gay best friend trope or, I got that token gay friend/ relative to be like I got one of those like its a collectable or something. So I would like to see it normalized to just be a person instead of the minority group it falls in. Like you wouldn't say, I know a straight couple at work or I got straight neighbors, or I heard they are promiscuous and unfaithful, or something that you insert a stereotype of a gay relationship into. I guess that's my point of saying that. They are more complex than being deviant or a collectors item for the mainstream to have to look open-minded and accepting.
Very late and out of context comentary but, this reminds me that everyone needs a break from work and have time to do do something for themselves or their family I'm tired, I hope you see this and don't overwork yourselves every day
These are so well made, the story is perfect for this length of animation. Simple enough to be satisfying but enough conflict for the core message to come through. The characters are relatable and the sound design has no business being this good. Also he had to go sakuga at the end with the kiss lol.
I'm trying to fight off my internalized homophobia. Seeing casual intimacy is comforting...The style is super cute and the endings are always cute too !!
There is no shame in admitting that, it is in fact part of individual growth. The development of phobia’s or even hatred is always justified and like a storm something completely natural, it is however essential that we have to overcome them.
I am gay and you would never know it , you see how gay relationships are always portrayed with two actual masculine acting men, none of the pansy boy bull crap, well that's because the pansy boys belong to the trans community more than the gay community, I have pansy boy homophobia , they all have the same voice and same accent no matter where they are on the planet ..that's because it's fake and put on .... Just like all this men can be women ...no it's fake! Men can never be a fkin woman! So maybe now you're a bit more for the gays knowing that we don't dabble in the side of madness the rest do.
