Nice video. I agree completely with the purchase of early versions of lenses and cameras for that matter.

I have that lens, really like it. A 20mm is about as wide as I can compose with, great lens, very expensive $250 iirc back in the late 60’s.

My 105 f2.5 lives on my F3 hp. My OM 2 wears s 28 f2.8 Good combo for me.

I have the Canon FD 20mm, even looks similar. Widest Nikon F I have is 24, which is awesome. Funny how 35 is wide enough until you get a 28. 28 is wide enough until you get a 24. 20 is sweet spot!

I picked up a Nikon 70-210 f4 last year. It was only made for about a year in 1985, discontinued I think because it was too expensive and people bought the cheaper slower telephoto. You got one Ken? 👍📸

I love my 20mm 3.5 pancake with my fm2n. I've taken so many amazing shots with it. I've been saving up for 3 years for the Voight 21 1.4 ASPH and a viewfinder for my M3. Not there yet. Someday. I hope, it's a big reach these days. Your audio is out of synch btw. I also disagree with your generalization because I love my 20, 50, 105, 135, and my 200. I just don't jibe with 28 or 35 for some reason. If I only had 2 Nikon lenses I would and have taken the 20 and the 105. I've done that many times over the years on multi week shoots.
