This movie was perfect in many ways yet still very emotional. Follow me on all socials...if you would like: Twitter: / ogmachomie Instagram: / ogmachomie
Literally the only things I didn't love about this movie were A.) The so-called queer representation. It was literally a kiss on the forehead and that's it. It's especially frustrating since I love the comics and there's so much great Sapphic representation in them. B.) The positively criminal under usage of Michaela Coel. She deserved sooooo much more relevance in this movie. I was so excited to hear she was going to be in this after watching I May Destroy You, and she got next to no screen time, and no impact on the plot. You could remove her character from the movie completely and it wouldn't change the movie at all. She deserved better.
Yea I agree the kiss on the forehead wasn’t much but it was definitely a step up from the eternals representation of two men in a relationship as we didn’t even get a kiss out of them 😭 and Yes Michaela should’ve had a bigger role than what she did.
I don’t know why my favorite RU-vid videos are movie reactions of movies I’ve seen already but I love your channel!! You are gonna grow super fast I can tell! ❤
Me: nah Namor you're bugging Val: locks up Ross and says she dreams of being the only ones to have vibranium. Me: fuck that Namor, burn everything 😂🤣 P.s riri and Peter will probably be in the nxt avenger films set for 2025...Riri goes to MIT and you remember that's the school Peter was trying to get into in noway home
🩶 I loved this reaction. I can't even begin to describe how hard I cried watching this movie. I was devastated to miss it in theatres because I was in the hospital for 5 months, right when it was released. I bought it the moment it was released online at midnight and spent the entire night crying. I watched it twice in a row. First, I'd think about how sad it was that a man as wonderful as Chadwick was gone. Then I'd think I'd think about how hard Shuri tried to save T'Challa and how that was probably similar to how Chadwick's family felt in real life. Then I'd think about how Ramonda was a bad ass and she's gone now too. I'd think about Shuri's grief and how much she- and everyone in real life- had to go through grieving during this. Then, I'd remember about how she and Namor both overcame the anger so rooted inside them at the time and supported each other and their kingdoms and how wonderful of a Black Panther Shuri is going to be for the rest of her life. Then I'd remember the post-credits scene and how T'Challa would live on through his son, and I'd lose it all over again. Needless to say, I didn't sleep one single second that night. If Angela Bassett doesn't win an Oscar for her performance in this, I'm going to be MAD!
Totally agree with what you mean regarding the avengers not being at the funeral scene, but i wish they could have done Bucky showing up (even as end credit scene of him being late to show up/missing the funeral or having his own little memorial(imagine if he and Nakia did one together) simply because of the fact that he was accepted so much by the royal family/wakandans that he was like an adoptive brother in that time Bucky was recovering/rehabilitating and earned the title of WHITE WOLF
I answered your question before, but since you asked directly. Question: Why would Namor after asking Them to get the scientist for them. Namor was Playing them, they could do what he and his couldn't do. They were being used. It only changed because akoiya could FIGHT and Shuri A.I. spoke Mayan. Namor intentions is War, period. All this didn't just Happen, Ta Challa is gone. See the theme. Queen's Speech at the U.N. Everybody thinks Wakanda doesn't have a protector.
That was the only thing I disagree with you about taking Shuri out of Wakanda Not just the trip but away from full Security. She is the last of there line of Royal family. Ta Challa dies She is heir apparent. It also leaves them vulnerable, not to just Namor but to every Nation that would exchange her For vibranium. She should not have gone. Queen also bares some responsibility for Namor having her. I've watched many reactions and people really think he was capable of reasoning. Namor was Reading for War he was playing Chess using Wakanda to find the Scientist, what happened as soon as??? Here thy come to kill the Scientist and both of them. That's why Shuri Used there language to Plead her case for the girl. There was so hope That Namor could convince Shuri to fight Beside him. But the plan was always to attack Wakanda first for drawing on the presents Of vibranium.✌🏿💯🫶🏿
And don't get me wrong your better than half of most reactors. But your Reacting to this and I'm Feeling you. But I checked your page, and this is the only African American Movie. Nothing else but your face shows me what I see in this reaction.😊 Hope for more.
Whether you deem it genuine or not, it really doesn’t matter. It was MY reaction and commentary on MY channel and it’s up to you either stay or leave beloved. But thank you…for your candor.
lbr, How tf do you know if anyone is giving a first time reaction, unless they admit they're not? Comments are always good for any channel so thanks for leaving one. For me personally, this film has been unnecessarily attacked so much I'm always happy to see a positive reaction and examination of the themes, so it didn't need to be a first time reaction to be appreciated.
