Plus, when Tony got stabbed, he used to freeze weapon on his suit to patch up the wound the suit itself didn’t heal him. Whereas, in Wakanda Forever, the suit appeared to have done the work, plus Shuri was also stabbed through the spine lol

@@harshjain9615 what are you saying. Killmomger could have been fixed at the lab if he had agreed to it. He decided to die because he lost. He understood what he had done. Remember Everet Ross played by Martin freeman suffered a fatal injury but miraculously recovered in the first movie? Shuri made that happen. Idk why anyone isn't understanding she would have predicted all kinds of fatalities while making this suit. It's so simple.

The difference though between Tony and Shuri is that Tony was legit done for after getting stabbed like he barely survived, he patched himself up later but was done for the rest of the movie, Shuri just gets up immediately, she should’ve been done for, not dead but out of the fight

The only difference with tony is when he got stabbed he didn't get right back up and fight. He was hurt and done for the rest of the movie (infinity). BTW love the channel

@@felixnegron1888 Remember that Shuri created and ingested the synthetic Heart-Shaped Herb, using a piece of the vibranium plant from Namor's mother's wristband. The same vibranium plant that allowed Namor's mom and her people to, basically, come back to life from small pox and allowed the Talokan warriors that Okoye fatally stabbed to heal and get right back up. Shuri surviving that crazy stab makes much more sense when you remember those facts.

tony stark got stabbed through the side, not in the middle, and there was clear blood present; Shuri got impaled through the spine, and when she pulled the spear out, there was literally zero blood, not even a drop. Even if the suit put pressure on the wound, the spear still went through her body and spine

The things you guys said about characters becoming more and more familiar and lovable with time, it's true but it won't happen with phase 4 characters/new characters. Yes, maybe iron man 2 and 3 wasn’t that good. But Tony was always on point. And people love Iron man mostly because of the first film and other avengers movies. As Jermy Jahns said, a full Act was dedicated as to how Tony Stark became iron man. That's why when we see him in Endgame, we feel for him. But now, a school or college going kid makes vibranium director or suit like iron man, or make quantum devices. How? Cz they just can and there is no arc behind that. No one can relate to them. And that's why no matter how big the movies are, gow giant the battle becomes, no one would care like they cared in Endgame. That's the downfall of Marvel. The character Arc, the story, the motivation, the hunger for making something special, is just gone! Sad!

@Jaby Tony never got back up after Thanos impaled him, this is also what happens when T'challa stabs Michael B. Jordan's character he dies shortly afterwards. If Shuri's suit staunched the bleeding it still doesn't explain how she was totally unaffected by her injury immediately after being run-through and then later she goes and gives a speech in midair without exhibiting any signs of injury or trauma, as Ryan George said "super easy barely, an inconvenience".

My take on Shuri being able to recover from the stab wound is because she used the plant she used to recreate the herb for black panther gave the Talokanil resistance to vibranium weapons. The fight between Okoye and Attuma on the bridge shows that Okoye struck down three of the Talokanil warriors with what she later describes as fatal wounds, but minutes later they are back on their feet. The plant gave Shuri the same ability which is why there's no blood on the spear and also no blood on the bridge from the warriors Okoye struck. The scene where Namor floods the throne room. He was trying to kill RiRi and Ramonda just happened to be in there as well. I don't think it was his plan to kill Ramonda, it's just what happened. Although he would probably rather see Shuri as Queen because she had empathy for his people.

5:13 i think its because namor told the queen on the beach that if he discovered any wakandans in the ocean hed kill her and shuri, nakia ended up killing his people while namor was with the queen. thats why he blamed the queen for those deaths because he knew shuri was with him being treated very well and had nothing to do with it. so he basically killed the person responsible for those deaths. he didnt blamed the assassin nakia cuz it was a direct order from the queen anyways

About Shuri's wound vs Tony's, Wakanda Forever takes place in 2024, years after Tony's encounter with Thanos on Titan. I assume that advancements in nanotech have leaped pretty significantly in that time and being able to close and manage trauma from a severe wound would be capable. Though, a line or two about would've been good. Also, it looks kinda funky when Shuri pulls herself off the spear and there's zero blood.

Regarding her getting impaled, I think it's safe to assume the suit staunched the bleeding and delivered some kind of medicine for pain and the nanotech got to work on preserving her life. A band-aid solution so she can go on fighting, until she gets proper medical attention. It would make sense that Shuri, a scientist, would prepare for such an eventuality, if one were to speculate

Atleast with Tony they showed him spraying some nanobot tech on his wound after Thanos stab him and left, with Shuri her suit only closed without any clear indication if her suit got some nano tech or not even mentioned earlier in the movie if its got some healing abilities.

I think a good explanation for why the CIA wouldn’t have had more vibration detectors is because maybe this is the first time it was used so they didn’t know if it was gonna work. And the only one they had is the one that namor destroyed and gave to wakanda. So it would make more sense for riri to become more involved since she’s the only one who knows how to make it. And how would riri know if it worked unless she already had vibranium to test the detector.

Btw... make up an explanation how a college kid got his hands on Vibranium, if it is the rarest metal on earth and the US goverments doesnt even have any... I am very interested in your reasoning for that!

And Riri didn't build it, she just theorized and designed a way she thought it could work, based on the known properties of Vibranium. The US government made a prototype and it was stolen before it could be tested properly. These things are in the movie. There's no need to "reason for" it.

Because of the passing of Jason David Frank a few days ago I've asked a few reactors to see Power Rangers season 1 episodes 17-21. He premiered in a 5 episode arc called Green With Evil. I just wonder, wh Namor did not help defeat Thanos due to the snap must affected his nation and people. Unless he is the one got snap. But still why not joining The Avengers in Endgame once coming back? or did I miss that?

I know this comment is almost a year old, and I’m not meaning to be rude or attack your questions, because you have great points. I see it like I do when reading the comics…there has to be some separation for the individual character (or group) to be able to fight their own battles at times to develop their stories. If we start asking those kind of questions, we have to ask why didn’t the X-Men show up in Infinity War and End Game? In the comics, the X-Men were affected by the snap. Fans have asked why established and/or non-established characters don’t show up in other main character solo movies. By established/non-established, I’m referring to known comic book characters that Disney/Marvel hasn’t introduced in the movies yet. The short answer is that they just don’t. Another reason is Disney doesn’t (or didn’t at the time) own the rights to all of the characters in the MCU. Look at the three Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Nick, Tony, or even Happy couldn’t get any of the other established characters from the previous Marvel movies to at least assist Peter? Also, Deadpool…there were only two X-Men around to help him in the first movie.

Well Tony Stark got stabbed then didn't move very well for the rest of his time in the movie then died. Shuri immediately did a aerial somersault continued fighting faster and harder. Moving just fine. And having the black panther herb in you doesn't help you cause that's how Killmonger died in the first movie.

Killmonger was stabbed in the heart. And no, Shuri did not fight after she was stabbed. She did the somersault and landed, grabbing her stomach, clearly in pain, and then she activated the ship's engine, burning Namor to a crisp. After that, she stumbles forward holding her abdomen. As for the comparison to Tony Stark; he hadn't taken the heart-shaped herb. Shuri had.

They're called "answers", not "excuses." And it's typically because the answers are right there in the movie, if you pay attention. It's just that people are so intent on finding things to drag the MCU down that they *_don't_* pay attention. There are mistakes and plot holes in the MCU, but nowhere *_NEAR_* as many as the haters want there to be.

Tony Stark was clearly very much injured after getting stabbed. Even though he covered the wound (which was actually shown in the movie unlike Wakanda Forever) he wasn't able to fight back after that and was having a hard time to even move too much.

Fun fact about abdominal penetrating injuries, the issue often isn't blood LEAVING the body, it's about what internally was punctured and if it's blooding internally. Now- a significant enough hemorrhaging is... fairly safe to assume you won't make it, and when I saw that scene- I was expecting him to have a change of heart now that they were both on the brink of death. Direct pressure will only do so much- also super cringe that she pulled herself off of the spear that had impaled her. She'd be dead from internal bleeding in anywhere from 2-3 minutes. But- that's not what happened. Also- surprised that Ryan George had nothing to say about the Director 'bugging' the high tech wrist beads of a technology they have zero experience with tapping into or working with. It pulled me out of the movie for a bit, literally felt like a plot device instead of a moment in the movie I could have enjoyed.

Even if Shuri didn't have the Black Panther suit, and didn't have the powers of the heart shaped herb, it still takes awhile to die from just an abdominal impalement. In fact, it is a relatively slow and painful death; it is why a person performing Seppeku has an honorable other chop his/her head off after completing the act. But she had both powers and a fancy suit, plus adrenaline, plus a vendetta. While I think Namor, even when "defeated", was (or at least believed he was) in control, Shuri's final move was peformed fast enough for me to believe she could have done what she did, even without dripping blood on the spear or the ground, especially given a suped up body and the possibilities of this fictitious world.

Tony got stabbed to the side with a blade and was down on the ground while Shuri gets stabbed almost in the middle with a spear till the pole and does acrobatics as if nothing happened

Also, this is Killmonger I'm talking about, whose raw power almost killed T'Challa the first time, Shuri wouldn't even measure up to her brother in terms of body endurance.
