He was the hero that so many black kids finally got to dress up as. He was their first representation... This hurts. Rest In Power, King. You will be missed.
Saturday Night Live is the most ignorant program I've ever seen in my life it really insult my intelligence that people can act this ignorant and get paid for it
+Terry Hodge - Are you serious? It's just comedy. They actually take a lot of real issues & bring them to light. Do you also think it's stupid when they make fun of white politicians like Donald Trump?? You don't seem to understand satirical comedy.
I'm not in the black community, but he had an impact on me as well. He was the kind of person any one could look up to. Losing him is hard to justify. It reminds me of Joyner's Devil's Work. Why does God take the good ones.
I'll trade in 6ix9ine, Kodak Black, and every mumble rappers out here, and koonyae west to have Chadwick Boseman back. Take them, we'll get Chadwick Boseman back.
This man had cancer since 2016, his character of the Black Panther and in other films will be remembered even though we only saw him for a short time and his determination to live through adversity will be admired. Rest Easy youll always be remembered for everything.
@@brickofwar9727 white people, by denying black people home loans and discriminating against them in housing, and also not paying people for generations and then paying them poor wages & moving middle class paying jobs overseas.
Usually when people say that, it's referring to someone who has mental and emotional problems and uses humor to cope. I've never heard it refer to people in physical pain.
That’s all hotep religion he was making fun of them they never make sense to them black women aren’t suppose to have periods it’s only a white woman things they’re crazy people just google it lol
Why do people call them hoteps when hotep is an name of a real person who lived in Kemet or Eygpt hence Amenhotep the 3rd wow just cause people study history you don't have to call them names well since people study Asian or American history what would they be called lol
Lmao let's not talk about black people stealing cause then someone just might bring up the fact that white people stole blacks from their own homes. Oops, sorry. Did I say that?
Bitch please...Every culture has takeovers by other races. Look at South Africa the whites are literally being kicked out and their land stolen. You're being ignorant and extremely racist saying that WHITE PEOPLE are the only ones who steal and keep land..I mean COME ON READ SOME HISTORY
Jazz Boi Not sure who you're talking to honey but if it was to me, my reply was based off someone's racist comment, which I sarcastically replied too. I don't think anyone wants to type a actual history book on a RU-vid comment
A part of me really wish Chadwick would've told the media about his diagnosis. It was 4 whole years without us knowing. But I do respect Chadwick's decision. Thank you for being a part of my life and millions around the world. Rest In Peace Chadwick.
No disrespect, but public professionals do not always have to share their trials and tribulations. The man was a class act and incredible actor. Rest in Power king
I understand what you are saying and a part of me feels the same. But a bigger part of me is glad that he was able to keep it under wraps, and to be able to fight cancer and pass away peacefully, on his terms. Knowing he's no longer in pain, it really is hard to believe he's gone. You will be missed dearly Chadwick.
MCG525 I’m so glad you mentioned the part about him not being in pain anymore. Everyone is so focused on the loss of this man, which is devastating, that they don’t seem to be acknowledging the fact that he’s not suffering anymore.
There are several reasons to ignore inflation. Chief among them, less people go to the movies now because they're more expensive than they were when Titanic came out.
The biggest thing about inflation comparison is today’s media world is so crowded. Titanic wasn’t competing with internet piracy, Netflix, streaming options, gaming, online, social media, phone use. It’s just and can never be an apple to oranges comparison ever again. What’s hard to ignore is how successful Black Panther has been in comparison to other (and recent times) Marvel films. Of all the Marvel characters who could’ve predicted Panther topping them all.
Ice cream You sound slow asf fr lol, and also who was being racist? And what you said makes no absolute sense and I was just repeating what the people said in the video😂
I am devastated to know he still went into making Black Panther, knowing what he knew about his medical health. I am still trying to wrap my emotional mind around this mans abilities to put the world first, so we could feel good, proud, hopeful and be viewed as a race, as whole, capable, empathetic, compassionate, intelligent and creative. Chadwick worked up until the last... he truly lived doing what he loved... up until he could do no more...even up until his last movie on Netflix.
Beautifully said. Even those of us who aren't fans of superhero films or who are outside the target demographic could never underestimate the impact & importance of Black Panther. Chadwick is timeless now because he's the blueprint for what is hopefully the beginning of smart, wholesome & intelligent representation for everybody. He's created a wonderful, irreplaceable legacy & that's just incredible.
Black Panther has now become one of the most successful Superhero movies of all time and now hearing that it was sells more tickets at the box office than Titanic did has me more convinced that 2018 is the best year for the first mainstream Black superhero and the mighty king of Wakanda. Congratulations T'Challa
Renato Costa though I loved black panther, it’s still falls short behind CA Civil War at $1.3 billion and the first avengers at $1.8 billion. And titanic brought in about $2.1 billion.
Civil War made $1.1 billion worldwide and Avengers made $1.5 billion, unless you're adjusting for inflation. Black Panther is the third highest grossing MCU movie worldwide, behind only Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Oh I was responding in regards to the worldwide box office. But yeah I was wrong about Civil War. But in terms of worldwide ranking, Black Panther is number 10 as of today. It hasn't yet crossed the $2 billion mark but I'm hoping it does. I'm pretty sure it goes Avatar, Star Wars TFA, Titanic, Jurrasic World, Avengers, Furious 7, Age of Ultron, Harry Potter DH part 2, Star Wars TLJ, and then Black Panther.
Black Panther was the last movie I got to watch in the theater with my brother before he passed. Every time I watch it I remember how much we enjoyed the film when we discussed it while eating dinner at the diner nearby. Mr. Boseman forgive my brother if he goes on and on about your movie. May they both rest in peace. 🖤❤
fresh panda lmao, imagine being such a snowflake that you get triggered by a RIP comment of a recently deceased actor, you do not bring honor to your family like that, such a shame
He was hurting physically inside and he was hiding it all along. He needs to rest now. We need to let him go. You did the best, it’s time for you to sleep now. Rest well, King.
That's the point. All this woke cultural is all bullshit. It's all about marginalizing people at every turn. Wacanda is not real, it's fiction. People getting upset over it is ridiculous woke pandering.
Watching this years later after Chadwick's passing and watching BP2 and its just amazing what he brought to the role and the cultural shift after the movie came out.
Still haven't seen Black Panther. But glad a black superhero movie is shattering box office records. About time blacks are being portrayed in heroic roles. Instead constantly being the villians/criminals.
Spunky1991 Well there's also Blade, Hancock, War Machine, Luke Cage, Deadshot, Cyborg, Falcon. Meanwhile Asian & Latino superheroes are about none on film.
RIP Chadwick...the strength it would have taken to film this while suffering from such an illness..I can’t imagine a stronger person❤️🕊wakanda forever ✊🏿
*Relive in Peace, Relive without the Pain, Chadwick Boseman. I've seen a few of your films before passing but now I'm about to binge all of them! 2020 has been so confounding and twisted.*
I literally came from watching the tribute they did for him and it was heartbreaking to watch. Chadwick was really a hero onscreen and off-screen. No one will ever compare. He fought a hard fight, but it's nice and heart-wrenching to know he can rest peacefully now. Wakanda Forever!!!
I loved Black Panther, it was a great movie. I'm glad black people are finally getting a mainstream superhero who killed it at the box office. I don't really care who created character, it really doesn't matter. The end of Black Panther showed that Wakanda was reaching out to help the oppressed people in the world, that they were sharing their culture and their technology. I feel like that's a pretty important message. We all need to help and support each other, and we should learn work on learning more about the people around us, about their cultures and their traditions. We need to work on celebrating each other, not staying in our stupid racist bubbles
So it is OK for Black people to be racist against white people and it is funny? That is the joke? I do not appreciate this skit at all. Discrimination against any color is wrong, PERIOD! It is not a joke. This is sick and wrong and I am disgusted.
+One Angry Gamer Why was it their right to even give it. It is not... the skit was about racists who were self-entitled and felt like they laid claim to a film just because other black people were in. Equality was not automatically solved in 1968... maybe you should read a book because your very ignorant but I can understand why you are "butthurt". Holy crap, I can't believe I had to waste time to explain that concept.
Christopher Adams I have come to the determination that... You, sir... Is an asshole! SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DEAL WITH IT! IT'S A SKIT! STOP CRYING! I'M 16 AND YA DON'T HEAR ME BITCHING ABOUT IT!
+Flopbas Flopjib Come back when you can speak like and intelligent adult with something valid to say. I am sorry you think causal discrimination is acceptable/funny. Grow-up because I am sure you are a lot smarter than the comments you left.
Christopher Adams Dude from what I know SNL do racial things like this all the time. It's not just white people, they done this to black people and one skit is really gonna make you mad? It's SNL they make inappropriate jokes all the time ALL THE TIME. You should just leave if you're that offended. I mean what's the point, they are gonna do it again.
Black Panther was AMAZING and long overdue for a movie like it. But when i watched it in the cinema, most were white people and cheered at the end. Black Panther was a great movie but it's a movie for all. That's how progress is made.
The Hellfire Club! I loved the movie and totally agree that it's for everyone. However I feel like people are forgetting black Panthers roots going back to the 60's and 70's
Made by two white people who supported the civil rights movement. The movement wasn’t seclusive towards black people and neither is the movie. Though the target audience is black people.
Amen! God puts us in different places and circumstances and wants us do give it everything we got. That's exactly what Chadwick Boseman did! He literally changed the world.
In the skit, they literally said the movie was for everyone and told them they could do it. Then jokingly added the thing about dabbing. Did you watch or just comment to be bitter for no reason?
tchalla has a white adpoted brother in the comics, coogler intended the movie to be a message of mutual human unity which is symbolic since the first humans came from africa and in the comics wakanda is where the first human beings came from. all of these guys should just stop fucking bitching "blacks keep doing..they need to stop...i hate it when white people...wish they would...bla bla" Shut the Fuck up! Chill! If people were at their best character...itd be the same, therefore you cant really place blame on them, so it should be a good thing that people want to celebrate an amazing film like this in the same way and love the message in the same way. Enjoy it as a fucking amazing movie the same way because everyone does!
Let's all just appreciate what Marvel has done, brining everyone's favorite superheroes on the big screen. Notice no matter what color the superhero, they all team up against evil in the name of justice. We could learn a lot from these movies. #WakandaForever !
@James Scalzo agreed. people only started liking marvel around age of ultron. I remember going to see the hulk movie and iron man movie and the first avengers and would get laughed at (not in a mean way, I'm sure they were just toking fun at me but they sure as heck thought it was nerdy) when I talked about it back in elementary school
frances osugi probably because they can appreciate the superhero culture from cinematics? They probably didn’t watch earlier Marvel movies because they honestly weren’t that good. Imagine gatekeeping nerd culture because it wasn’t popular 15 years ago.
@@soberthoughts209 imagine thinking i was talking to you. im just pointing out that most of these fans have only seen the movies and are new to the universe (because they thought it was lame before), so in all honesty they really dont have a place to critique certain things when they only know the stuff that comes from the movies and dont have any actual background knowledge on the universe.
For some reason, I just can't shake how tired Chadwick looks in the thumbnail for this video. To think he was going through so much, still put out so many movies, and tried so hard to keep it all under wraps. That's a superhero there y'all. Rest In Power King.
Rest In Peace Chadwick, you are a fighter and a legend. You left a legacy and will always be remembered! I love you on this sketch, you were really funny!
