I got to see Green Day the other day and my brain is still having trouble comprehending that it actually happened. They closed with this song but we left like 3 songs before it so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic. We got in the car and the local radio station played it as we left Milwaukee. The one thing I love about Audra is the way she is singing the covers. She doesn't try to copy exactly the way the original song is , she is doing it in her own unique style and this is magical.

Love how this has that pop punk hit to it but you guys were able to really put a mellower tone on the song than original but still has the “umph” at the same time. Beautiful

I remember being in 3rd grade when this masterpiece came out and the radios played it non-stop. It made my childhood, I didn't know why at that time, but sometimes I cried to this song. Not because of the lyrics, I've learnt english a decade later, but the melody itself is something that touches your soul, no matter the age. My big sister introduced me to rock and related stuff, she's 8y older than me, and the very beginning of my taste in music is completely influenced by her (who happened to have a rock band with the girls and she used to be a wild drummer) I have very few good memories of that time, I'm glad this song and my sister and rock, in general, are stuff that I recall being cool. Awesome cover, I love every tiny bit of it.

I first started listening to First to Eleven when I just got into Green Day. I was looking for a clean version of Boulevard of Broken Dreams to show someone I know who doesn't like it when people swear. I found their cover basically when it was released. So happy to see another Green Day cover, and all the music made by these people is amazing

This is a fantastic cover and it showcases how good the group is as an ensemble. I know Audra gets a lot of attention as the vocalist and front, which is completely deserved because she is an incredibly talented vocalist, but because this is a cover of a Green Day tune, it wouldn't work without the entire group being on point, so let's give a shoutout to Audra Miller for the beautiful vocal performance but also Matt Yost on guitar, Sam Gilman on percussion, and band founder Ryan Krysiak on bass for pulling this together and tearing it up and giving us one of the best Green Day covers ever. Thanks to Ryan for making this all happen.

I very rarely comment on RU-vid. In fact, only when I am completely blown away. Right now is one of those times. You knocked this one into outer space! My jaw literally dropped the entire video. Everything about it was stunning. I loved the different drum pieces from the original. All of it was such a fresh take on the original classic. Audra your voice goes so well with your voice! Your different octaves are so beautiful to listen to! The guitar riffs were so perfect. One of my favourite sounds from my teenage years. Thank you for this cover! 12/10. Now to listen to it on repeat!

Criticism warning: I think this lost its original intimacy mainly because of how the drums were re-written. Almost every groove is different. It feels like somebody drum soloing over a song, not playing with it. Chops are great but I think the compositional choices felt arbitrary. Doesn't add to the original IMO. All the best.
