i have no idea how the identical soundfont doesn't get old for them

​​@@naorishifrom my experience it just doesn't, but it's maybe because I have a very large playlist which has a lot of very different genres and don't hear these like every few minutes but rather like every few hours

@@Teebosum that definitely breaks up the repetition i bet, though another gripe i have is that the funky rhythm changes, tuplets etc might be fun and surprising on the first couple listens but stop being interesting really quick, which is a dealbreaker for me because (in my opinion) the tracks don't offer much else besides that

@@naorishi (My English might not be the best so I didn't know how to make this a lot shorter, so sorry for that, and also I'm too lazy to make it more readable.) Idk, from my perspective usually more listened to genres like rap or even breakcore tend to lean into the same 2 extremes while concentrating on completely different aspects of what makes them into said genre, and I might be wrong but i feel like it's usually that the songs feel either very unique, which will usually push the genre forward or it's very generic slop which offers no variety and just makes finding anything unique pretty hard. II-L has it a bit harder since they pretty much create in their own genre, and imo their music focuses the most on rhythm complexity, and while it may not be completely unique through every single one of their songs, it's always either more or less complex than the other while maintaining his characteristic sound, which if anyone has ever heard will easily recognise, and to me that's enough to keep it interesting.

or what i think is a shorter version of the above reply is that II-Ls songs sound different and unique from one another yet they still manage to keep that characteristic sound of II-Ls songs if that makes sense
