This video will help you manage your breath support by focusing on the abdomen, by using techniques such as panting, counting, inhaling and exhaling fulling and over a measured time. This is the longest video that I have created. If you haven't sung for a while, this warm up will start slow and move you into a nice warm up.

This was really such a well curated warm up. I haven’t sung in YEARS and took to smoking afraid that my voice wouldn’t be the same since it’s already been such a long hiatus I gave up. After completing this I feel my power in my voice immediately returning and the potential for rebuilding and retraining my voice in a gentle way. With consistency I’m sure I can access my range and get to learn my new voice.

stop reaching for it ! dont feel like you are approaching it with relaxed tension free methods feel your voice gliding and slowly you will reach the upper end

Thank you for these exercises - I've found them very useful . Re the "Zing a mama" exercise: I had to slow the playback speed first time; I notice that pitch is unchanged, which is good . Now trying it at normal speed (PS slower playback of course gives a strange slurred effect on Dr Hale's voice!!) thanks again, Mike, a bass from Northwood, UK
