I feel like she's a more realistic version of "that girl" like she gets up early, eats well, journals, exercises and all of that but she's realistic about it which is so wonderful

me: watches hours of 5 am morning routines and self-development/study/productivity videos also me: stays up till 2am watching tiktoks and wakes up at 11am

as someone who suffers from depression and anxiety, waking up early really makes my mood great than waking up at 10 or 12 pm i feel sloppy, oily, lazier, sadder and empty. When i wake up early i suddenly have this energy to be happy, work out, clean, cook my food and feel a little bit good about myself though i still feel sleepy i do all my errands then i sleep in the afternoon for like 2-3 hours then makes my mood better. 10/10 recommend just for the experience!

One thing I like about waking up is my alone, calm time. Bad thing is that I still live with my parents so it usually doesn't last much. I can't wait to live by myself so that I can start habits that I enjoy and that are good for me.

Emma is honestly the best, she always says the right thing, she’s super relatable and “real” (if you will) but also probably one of the only people I follow that will actually motivate me to do this sort of thing

My depression and anxiety have been worse recently. I’ve been trying to get back to college after taking a gap semester and not being able to afford it without my scholarships. It’s been draining looking into all of it and my therapist is an hour from where I am now. Watching Emma has made me feel better like it used to when my depression and anxiety were bad so thank you for making videos still. I really needed these.

Y'all, I seriously cannot emphasize how comforting Emma is, like watching her talk about regular things or just spending a day with her is so comforting to me, and by the end of the video, I just feel safe, like she is just so comforting. Ugh, I love her.

Ideally for me waking up at 8am in the morning. Eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Getting exercise x3 times a week. Having an planner and journal is nice. Going out once a week. Having 1 day of the week to relax and doing laundry is perfect.

it’s so crazy how us young people go through so much body ache, and just pain in general - being mental or physical. I can tell you now as a 17 year old, being 18 in 5 1/2 months - I genuinely have so much body pain it is truly insane and hard to believe if I were to talk to someone such as a 40-55 year old. Sometimes I feel like it’s just me, but then I watch Emma, and I feel not so alone. I hate that other people go through this but it’s also comforting to know that it’s not just me, I’m sure others, including emma, know exactly what I mean. Anyway, I’m done blabbing - thanks emma ❤️

Body temp decreases at night while sleeping; odds are, your sleep cycles aren't complete when waking that early, thus your body temp hasn't risen back to normal yet. I always wake up sweating when I oversleep. I'm sure this comment was riveting for you all.

She is my person. I wish I could spend a week with her. She is so calming and real. I recently lost both my parents to covid 6 days apart in March. Watching you Emma has really calmed me down and saved me. You made me feel like a human again. I wish you could meet you and spend a day or week with you.

The reason why everybody feel not bored watching her videos is that she presents a really realistic version of herself to us, which gives us the feel that this is what she looks like in every day life and this is how she act in every day life❤❤❤❤❤

Is it just me or does the iPhone default alarm sound give you like a panic attack when it wakes you up.

I haven't watched the whole video yet but from someone who used to wake up at 5am on and off for a year, I can say that it is an extremely lonely experience. Unless there is a friend there for you to do it with, it can get really depressing. The novelty of seeing the morning wears off after a while and you end up not seeing people as much as you used to because you're either asleep earlier than usual or they are sleeping. It's surprising how much seeing even the public is important for mental health and if you've cut those hours shorter it can have a massive effect, but maybe that's just from my experience (this was also during covid and big restrictions so maybe in more normal times it's less lonely) I'd say it's good to wake up at 5am if you have someone there with you with a similar routine or if it is just for a month to try get out of a bad mental state or for a challenge of some sort. I just found it interesting that over time it was doing me more harm than good because I was isolating myself from the world because I knew I was awake when everyone around me for miles was asleep and I was sleeping when everyone around me was awake and doing things.
