Recognise that first stop instantly Alpine Way Beckton, deliver to Home Bargains there. You are right about that junction and pulling out. You can take a left, there is a roundabout just down the road which gives you the option of going around it and coming back on yourself.

Sounded like your Mrs was taking the pi55 out of you at the end there with that bye! Loved it, just what mine would do! Seeing little man with that big plant in the cart, I'm going to predict he'll be an abnormal load trucker! 🚛👍😁😁Well that was a good one, with so much tight manoeuvring in it from the start. That collection took blooming ages and I would have been thinking they'd have brought the remaining 4 pallets out to you on the road rather than go back in again. Oh and not been able to go for that walk from the services because it was all blocked off would be due to security and restricting entry for curtain slashing thieves. Seeing the awkwardness of those services got me thinking why aren't there drive in /drive out parking for lorries at more services, surely got to be a better, safer system. That last drop, Davenport Rd I think, I'm assuming the clutch protection was kicking in as it was getting too much up that slope, not really anything you could have done with the restricted space, but of course it would have tackled that slope in a straight line easier. I think you’re right with the clutch protection system, it just struggles with the weight and turn at the same time whilst going up a small slope. The pictures look pretty good so far, still need to upload them to the computer to do the final edits etc. 🤞🏻 Have a great weekend bud, all the best

Good that you got out of the wagon and had a walk about. Most drivers just fall out of bed, ………and in five years have a heart attack. Those back loads rarely pay, and usually have problems getting the invoice covered. Thanks for posting.

I remember years ago trying to get into a building site with a load of stone 44tonne so driving an artic tipper.My arse started to quiver when every other wagon was an 8 wheeler rigid or a 6 wheeler rigid drove all over Europe for years delivered everything from Meat to flowers to fish to airbags for cars but this one reverse onto a building site in Newcastle …still have nightmares now thinking about it…if you can drive in the uk you drive anywhere

I normally listen to podcasts on Spotify I’ve got a few main ones - Joe rogan, 2 movie podcasts and a gaming one. There normally between 2-3hrs long so perfect for the long drives 😃

I currently use a TomTom truck one, can’t remember the model number though but sat nav’s in general are always hit and miss, always try use your instincts and keep an eye out for weight limits etc

Why piss about with a back load ffs, They never have been any good the work is allways Crap and so is the Rate, plus a Back Load from the Smoke ? lol, A very good way of going broke, More profit in going back empty.
