I guess it depends on what the parents think is safe for her and if it makes her feel comfortable. From what I’ve read, swaddling is supposed to keep the baby from flailing about and accidentally hitting themselves in their sleep, since they still don’t have complete control of their motor functions.
i think the reason we don't have many memories from our early youth is because we process in rich dream logic, and dream logic is usually too abstract to be recalled
What nonsense! Babies are more content if they have their arms in front of them, crossed over - it's been proved by a leading paediatrician who can stop babies crying in a second by using this very method. I cannot see any logic to what you are saying.
Carole Ransom it’s proven that when babies are swaddled they sleep better and feel more secure. They even make swaddle jackets for animals for anxiety. Do your research before you comment about parents being ridiculous.
