Walbro WA 1 Carburetor rebuilt. Stihl 020 AVP

Hey ! I am no way expert on the carburetors...but it sounds like there is something blocking the flow when in idle. It could be several things...for sure...it could be that the needle does not close properly and by so doing blocking the idle flow of gasoline to flow in right way. It is much relaying on pressure and vacuum to operate and if leak somewhere...the prosess does mail function. Simple trick you could do is to check if the one way valve inside is shutting and opening. Regulate the spring for needle arm or the hight for the needle arm. Check the carb also for pop psi pressure...if you have a manometer ! ? Carb should also be ultra sound cleaned f.ecs. if some channel is blocked due to sediments or old gasoline... Hmm if you do not find out of it...replace the carburetor instead of spending too much time on figure out..I suggest. Good luck and watch other carburetor experts videos and might you get the answer ! :-)

Could also be...you did something wrong with the gasgets orientation...open and check ! 🙂

@@motordiverse1276 Sorry, I meant from 8:42 when you put the gasket on, there's no bean-shaped diaphragm to go on there? I've seen similar designs but they use a diaphragm too.

Hey ! Yes I understand what you mean and say. I think there was no such diaphragm on this one... I see there is slightly different pasages under that hood or hatch...and I am not sure why and how.... I recomend to search and investigate further or do as it was...replicate what was...in your spesific carburetor. But. I too wonder why and what...about that question.@@sypher0101
