A lot turned around for me once I set my own goals, goals that came from within me. It gave me a clear direction and focus, and allowed me to just GO.

Unrelated to this video, but... I heard you mention two things that caught my ear. One was wanting help, and I'm curious what that could look like. The other was you mentioning how you want to do write ups for all the types. I listened to the Lex Friedman podcast with Jeff Bezos and was absolutely stunned by how mature his Si-Ne is. It was startling to me because so often I'm trying to fit people into the type code or just can't see it, but Bezos just jumped out at me. It was like he was just constantly saying "Si is great, but you also need the Ne, because that's what you really want, but don't forget the Si, because you need the Si even in the Ne, and people want to do all Ne, but you need the Si, but you can't just have only Si..." And he was giving so many concrete examples and insights. I guess he was dealt an easy hand with his type, but I was thinking you could use people like Bezos to write the "mature" version of a function, which would necessarily include whatever other function it's dancing with... It seems like that's the first step, find well developed (healthy) examples of all the functions, because there are a million ways to have bad Xx, but the mature ones all look similar. Also, I was wondering if you guys have noticed something with the audios and visuals... I don't know my wife and It's types, but I know I'm audio and she's visual, and what happened was we were talking about then and than. For her, she never confuses them, and can't understand why anyone would, but she also needs to know how a word is spelled to be able to use it. Otherwise she can't "see" it. And on the other hand you have me who always gets then and than confused because in my mind they are the same word because the sound is the same. One more thing. I know I'm wrong, so no need to roast me, but I noticed something with Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. The thing was Jeff's Si. I always notice that function because the Si users talk in circles around an idea without ever saying the idea. It's like they tell a story with the idea in it. In my mind I always thought of Ni users as being people that just said the idea, and I always noticed how Elon is so precise with his words. He has these little things he says that are just perfect seeds of ideas, and he's always saying them. Bezos had one or two that were close, but they had extra words. I saw that you guys typed Elon as Si-Ne, and I know this question sounds too concrete to tie to something in the type code, but I see this really strong distinction between people who talk about ideas and people who just say the idea and I wasn't sure what it could be in the type code if it's not just the si-ne vs. ni-se axis. I was also thinking about how you could get help typing people without loosing control of the system (because I know Dave needs his control😂), and realized that you could use the same principle as blockchain. The basic idea is that you need to test a typists ability but you can't just use the same examples because they'd get leaked. So the solution would be to have some infrastructure built around typing people that lets every participant just submit types for anyone they want, but waits for the "senior typists" to confirm the type. You'd be able to see how well people understand the system because they'd be submitting types before the person is officially typed, and you could even build something that uses accuracy scores to create new "senior" typists and have something that keeps working even after you're dead and gone. If you wanted to do something like that I'd have a lot of fun building it!

You have to take care of your physical health and have a good diet, otherwise you may spiral into self-doubt pretty quickly even if you're a 1. If you're plagued with self-doubt, or suffer some "fi-depression" or something - make sure to cut out all processed foods from your diet if you haven't already. Also up animal fat and protein.

Also, Bezos captured Si-Ne perfectly in the one word "wander". That's the word for si-ne. That and nothing else, it's exactly right 😂

Another thing I noticed was something with people's emotions. I guess they wouldn't come up a lot in typical interactions because most people don't really show themselves normally, though the sexual modalities seem close... Anyway, the thing was I was seeing the same Xi Xe pattern with people who are angry and pushy on the outside and vulnerable and sensitive on the inside and vice versa. I guess that really is just the sexual modalities, but I found the wisdom to those dynamics and it's something along the lines of: Everyone has angry emotions and vulnerable emotions, and to have a good connection with someone you have to be able to share both kinds. The person who always wants to be strong has to be able to admit to their partner when they are hurt, because it is that vulnerability which will earn them the love they really need in that moment, which means turning the natural "fuck you" into "I'm scared and hurt". Love is just an emotional connection between people, and the only thing that damages that connection is when emotions are not being expressed (assuming both people want a relationship), because when we express our emotions our minds actually turn into one mind. It's just that some people have to learn to say "fuck you" to their partner, and others have to learn to be vulnerable with their partner, and that's really hard to do. (By the end of sounds stupid, but I swear there's something in that and OPS people are the most likely to get it 😂)

I like this! I’m one of the people that’s learning to say “fuck you” to their partner, in a healthy way, and it’s made our relationship better.

Wow that sounds like I’m a number 1. So as an EJ I’m doubling down on this? Sounds about right.

@KayKayBayForever 10 месяцев назад
I think, if I have it right, that as an EJ you would be doubling down if you were #4. #1 is a little more similar to Di, and as an EJ you’d be De. So you actually have a cool, diversifying social type if you’re #1! (Edited for spelling.)

6:00 As a fellow observant mumble fk, can confirm 😂 Edit: Wait. Are you saying that, the "shut down (11:25)/puff up" (I would hypothesize: shame/guilt 🤔) state people are in (when they're/we're overcompensating/flexing) *is* the savior ("function") tell? Or, demon ("function") tell? 🤔
