A monster edit for a monster day out. The weather window was too good to ignore in mid April to get a Snowdon ride in the bag prior to the voluntary biking ban which starts on 1st May
The weather pretty much behaved itself during the day with some cloud started to gather on the summit as we were climbing up Rangers but generally cleared by the time we got to the top and the sun was more out than in most of the time enough for me to put on some suncream, yep you heard it right 🌞
Standard double loop for me which according to Strava I've done 5 times and you will see another edit on the channel from last year when I rode it solo. Always better to have company for various reasons not to mention a bit of banter and laughter
So the stats for this are around 7,000 ft (+2,000 mtrs), 20 miles took us around 9 hours if you fancy it. Due to the travelling involved on a day trip from my house, it makes sense to do as much riding as your legs will take in what is a very long day but certainly worth it once in a while
