This little trip out sees us exploring a not so far from us site Called Waleswood Caravan and Camping Park. This little gem lies close to the Derbyshire Peak District, in the Rother Valley and to be absolutely honest, you only have to turn up to see why this is a gold award winning site. Opened in 2019, this is definitely on our return list.
It is right on the edge (all be it up a slight hill) of the Rother Valley country park, with links to the pennine way and beyond.
