I bought one of those Obsidian Flames packs last week but it was only 5.99 at my local place. I pulled the best card out of the bunch and now I am hooked on pokemon again 23 year after the first time I got hooked.
I bought a bunch of those "TCG Lightning Sets + 1 Bonus Card" boxes, and it seems like at least one pack included within each box contained an Ultra Rare. You got VERY lucky with getting three hits with the first one you opened. Very nice Mewtwo VStar, by the way :) 👍🏼

Yep, The Pokémon brand is the most popular franchise ever created and literally DWARFS the ones beneath it. It’s closest rival, Hello Kitty (Japan owns the vast majority of most successful/profitable franchises of all time, go figure lmfao) is still tens of billions away from catching the “Gotta Catch ‘Em All!” juggernaut, haha. It’s unreal how much Pokémon permeates every single thing on this planet; and it’ll only get more intense since they finally officially entered the Chinese market (whom have been playing massive catch up the past couple of months) and it’s just crazy to see how much that’s making TPCI as a whole, haha.)
@@johnwilliamson8575 Yea, just got word from my niece last week that she sold my Charizard 1st edition for 14k. Thankfully she’s going to give me half of that money (which I’ll then use to buy another one that is between 6-8 at some point). She thankfully kept around half my other 1st edition stuff from Base-Fossil, and she plans to drop them off in a few weeks. Sadly while I was super OCD (still am), and took care of my stuff, I was very into winning tournaments at the time so they are in the light to very lightly moderately played. Sleeving wasn’t a thing for Pokémon back then; so holos are a bit scuffed but that’s to be expected. Only reason my Zard was so good is because I pulled him on my second ever pack and even back then people knew how special of a card he was; so I took care of it and RARELY ever played it (ended up getting a shadowless one that was played to hell and back, lmao) All in all, they’re my childhood cards so they’re invaluable for me. I plan on seeing if I can rebuy the Zard from the buyer and just buy them another one as that one is clearly sentimental, lol. We will see though. Good luck and have fun on your collection!
Apparently stores only stock cards in areas with known millionaire pokemon collectors because none of my stores carry Pokemon. None at Walgreen, Target, Walmart, and everywhere else thats supposed to carry them.
@PokeRev i went to Walgreens a few days ago and bought one of those lightning packs, had 3 Obsidian Flames and 1 sword and shield base set. Also grabbed a 2 pack blister I haven't opened yet and 1 of the single mystery vintage packs but got a evolving skies in it. Not too bad for pulls but nothing crazy. I don't go there too often because of their high prices. I got some decent tins at Michael's recently too and 25% off with a coupon I had!
thats crazy. i opened a $5 Obsidian Flames checklane blister from Dollar Tree. but no way am i paying $10 for a pack.. might as well go to 7/11 and pay the $7. crazy.

Every Walgreens, i go too, has nothing but junk. And it's always over priced 😭😭 It's really hard finding good pokemon Card's, that are not damaged 😮😮 I just need one good pokemon shop by me, instead of ordering threw the mail.. If anyone wants too open a Pokemon card shop. I know, the perfect location... Even are game stops are trash... Only place too get decent Card's, are Target's. That's it.
I grabbed so many of those 2pack blisters from Walgreens when they all had comic eclipse and Evolving Skies. I got 5 Sleeves Booster Boxes filled with them. But Luckily I found local Deal On FB market cuz I'd be oita thousands is I paid the 9.99 to 11.99 that Thry go for depending on the time of year. It's been quite a while since I been to one for Pokémon cards tho. But I goto CVS and Walgreens to pick up scripts for kids or family so I always check the isle out but don't buy. Gotta check out what they got this month when it's refill time lol
Debated today on purchasing one of the TCG Lightning sets. Instead of a variety, it contained 3 Lost Origin Packs with Scarlet and Violet base. Figured the bonus card was nothing special, so decided to pass, but may reconsider that maybe, just maybe those 3 packs holds that Giratina V Alternate Full Art.
Why does the title say Walgreens jackpot? I watched whole video waiting for a jackpot and 😢 no jackpot! False advertising! Maybe the jackpot was finding all the different type of packs they had at Walgreens. But to me jackpot means you pulled something really good. I can’t be only person who was disappointed at the end.

My Walgreens doesn’t even have the Pokémon cards on the shelves; they’re behind the register haha. I have used coupons to get the tins 30%-40% off but have never gotten anything good 😅
