In this video, we visit Walibi Belgium, an amusement park located south of Brussels in Wavre.
This is the first time it has been open for the Christmas season.
On the agenda, we discover the temporary ice rink, specially installed for the occasion, which presents a show three times a day. The rental of skates is included in the entrance fee. You have access to it for 20 minutes with the delivery of a beeper that warns you of the end of the rental.
There is also a Christmas market located between the Loup Garou roller coaster and the 4D cinema (which is also screening a special Christmas movie for the occasion).
At the Christmas market, you will find food stalls: tartiflette, raclette, sauerkraut, hot drinks, waffles, crepes, giant marshmallows to roast on a huge brazier, all sheltered in small cable cars arranged as picnic tables, installed all around the fire.
There are also souvenir shops including goodies bearing the old Walibi logo, which is great!
You can also meet Santa Claus in the children's area decorated for the occasion.
The old bangers circuit is completely themed with small Christmas chalets along the route and presents small scenes with elves.
From 5pm, you will have access to Wonder Woods, an enchanted forest located between the ice rink and the new Silverton attraction, which we also had the opportunity to try.
At nightfall, the park is adorned with thousands of sparkling lights, including the most impressive show located on the Dalton Terror, with the use of lasers and, from what we could observe, synchronized with the fall of the gondolas. It's huge!
We hope you enjoy the video!
We thank the Walibi teams for their invitation and for allowing us to discover the Christmas season, Walibi Winter.
