@Pharm Naah, it's not really a cliché... Berlin is actually a lot messier than other German cities. But life tends to be messy. I live in Berlin (Rummelsburg) myself and I'm perfectly fine with that. - On the other hand some people from the outside just love Berlin-bashing... poor lost and tidy souls, if you ask me. ;)
Check out this nice walk 2 YEARS LATER in Berlin in 4K and one single shot! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DQu6M8l3z8Y.html Wonderful city 😍
The first time I visited Berlin I just felt in love with this special city, I don´t know why maybe because of its energy or reminds me the streets of NY. I return every year for vacations and never get tired of this city.
It has so much to offer. Very diverse. Especially in terms of architecture and neighbourhoods. Hope you're having a great time there! Also lots of awesome parks and lakes.
Wow, I was born in Tempelhof and lived near Stieglitz I believe. When I was 9 my mom moved me to the US, January 89 so I missed the wall coming down. I would love to go and visit and see my family, some that I have never met or haven't seen since I was 9. I love watching these videos, I can sometimes remember being in an area I'm watching when I was younger ❤
Hello. Thank you for this wonderful Berlin video. I visited Berlin in 1997. The cityscape of Berlin today is very nice both now and in the past. ★★★★★ Daisuke
Absolutely, a huge city. Potsdamer Platz sort of reminds me of downtown Dallas.I know, I know, a lot of the place was blown to bloody shit when the Soviets arrived.Looks clean and vibrant. Splendid bicycle lanes....and suddenly so quiet...I thinkthat park area must be the Tiergarten?Someday I'll get there...……..
They should create some operas, theaters and nightlife clubs at the Potsdamer Platz - all with new beautiful buildings. Maybe even a casino-thingy and some cafes for the daily lifestyle. Like there were before WW2. That is what has made that area famous so they should try going back to that and create a wonderful Hotspot of Berlin with all sorts of things to do in a little area. Not just offices, apartments, cinemas a mall and a few cinemas, restaurants and bars here and there. Also some place for outside concerts from time to time during the summer times wouldn't be too bad I think!
@@MEOWalina I live in Sydney and have only been to Berlin in summer. It's not just a question of temperature, there is also the question of the amount and quality of daylight during one's visit. I would have less of this with a winter visit. But I would like to enjoy a Berlin Christmas. Sydney used to try to pretend its winter at Christmas time with fake snow in the shop windows. Luckily that practice is waning which is just as well because it never snows in Sydney even in winter!
@@listohan ooh yes Germany at Christmas time is just magical :) i love all of the Christmas markets and sweets. But yes, i can see what you mean by there being less daylight. i'm personally a night owl so i'm not the right person to ask!
