Sir, I like your no BS explanation and honesty about field testing the product. I was checking out Brian Waters channel when he demonstrated your product. So now I’m a subscriber and future customer of yours. Living in Louisiana and going through hurricanes and without power for days or weeks at a time can test your patience. Having the ability to run your A/C to cope with the heat and humidity alone can boost your morale. We didn’t know what an active or soft start was until the last hurricane. When finances allow I plan on picking up one for my 5 ton and the 120V plug and play type for my window unit. Keep up the good work!
Great to know your product works for residences, too! I’m sure my hard-working compressor would appreciate it, and I’d appreciate eliminating the big “clunk” at start up!

@@zbe859 Hi we rearranged our menu structure to make it easier to navigate but that doesn't seem to have happened. Use the top menu where it says shop and select activestart products and you will find all our products. The unit is available for the home.
Ok, I have purchased your ActiveStart SoftStart ACS30P 30AMP unit for my RV to run it with my 3500w generator or my Titan Solar Generator. Looking at your channel here, I am wondering if it would work for my house if get a professional to wire a transfer switch or sub panel to connect a generator in case of a power outage? Or, do I need to get this new product you make that wires directly to my unit? My house AC unit is Goodman Model GSH130421AF Max breaker amp 30. Min. circ amps 22.1. voltage range 197-253 phase 1 hertz 60. p.s. I am really impressed with your informative website and youtube channel. Hi Stacy, Thankyou and these are great questions. I was actually going to do another video this week to help users pick what's best for the application. In this case the ACS30P is only for 115 VAC application which means it would not work well for your house. The wired version directly on the AC would be the best option for the home with current offerings and you will be able to run that unit off of your generator without any issues. I am planning the same thing for my house and that will be another video coming soon. I have the 50 amp version of the plug and play that will be available in Feb timeframe that will handle the rest of the house and could be wired with transfer switch as you have described and give complete emergency backup capability without the need for an extremely large generator.
I saw a link for your page on an Rv site on Facebook. A happy customer had shared it. First let me compliment you on this very well done field video. Your presentation gives great information about the ac and connecting as well as equally important safety precautions. This unit installed. At the end your unit is running on the soft start. Is your fan a multi speed one? Or is the video playing tricks and its not going slow. Im investigating a unit for my camper and have seversl other " tech like " questions thanks Joe

@activecontrolsllc ok I have 2 Wen inverter 4k peak 3500 rated generators. Each have a 30 amp plug I can plug in my TT and have and it works my camper. I also have the parallel kit to connect both and end up with a 50 amp plug. I intend to install a 50 amp plug on my house going to either a panel interlock or a 50 amp interlock switch panel. Now. I am wondering if I should get a 50 amp plug starter. And I have seen the app and can this be used with one of my gens with the 30 amp plug and an adapter for my camper as well as the whole house? Possibly a single gen on the house as needed? Both not needed most of the time
@@joegifford1668 Yes. That is correct. I have another video showing that running on my house as well. Having the wired version on the home AC combined with the 50 amp unit I can easily run my whole house on my 7500 peak generator. The best solution is with the wired unit on the AC which allows you to use a smaller generator instead of like a 13KW or 15KW.
In the video is a 3 ton AC unit but the 40 amp version is ideal for Residential Home systems, Marine air Conditioners or Commercial units drawing less than 40 amps this is typically 6 tons or less.
How does your product rate against Micro Air Soft Start? Have been looking at that one but now really interested in yours! One Veteran to another supporting small business owner and Veteran. Look forward to your reply.
My current 3 ton unit LRA is 77.0 and RLA is 14.1 30 amp max breaker. Wanting to be able to run both heat in winter outage and summer cooling outage. Using a Predator 9000 generator. Thanks for your reply.
@@bobbyphillips7190 Appreciate the comments and question. My softstart outperforms the competition including MicroAir which gets on average 60-65% reduction while I get a consistent 80% reduction based on measured inrush current. Others use the LRA for the calculation which most of time is higher than the actual. Your predator won't even notice the unit starting. I'll be doing a video in a couple of weeks with the unit and starting it on a westinghouse 7000 peak. My Bluetooth can also be wired to monitor the unit all the time not just when the compressor is running.

Hi...it can as long as the pump has a PSC motor. Basically means it has a run capacitor mounted to it. Contact us with info and I can look closer at it.
