Just a short walk through to give people an idea to what it’s like onboard the new Spirit and what her interior layout is like compared to the old Trimaran Spirit
That’s awesome stocked you enjoy the videos. We know they’re pretty dodgy but we just don’t enjoy sitting in front of computers trying to make videos 🤙
wow wow. i have followed the previous owners of this boat from Greenland to Mexico and i have never seen this so clean. spectacular job. I am looking forward to see it under the new sails in a stiff breeze. Keep the vids coming.
Agree. Chris White designs comfortable and safe cruising boats that have reasonably high performance. This particular Hammerhead has tamed the Southern Ocean at high speed.
Thanks again for saving this Chris White Hammerhead. The reason most performance/racing boats don't have opening front windows is leakage issues. Recommend against it for that reason.
Thanks 🙏 her layout is awesome and it’s one of the first things we feel in love with works great for a couple and is incredibly easy to maintain and live on. Feels like a villa on the water 😁
Nice we’ve also had Lavacs in the past back in the mid 90’s on my folks performance cruising car. We love them for their simplicity and ease of use! Sometimes less equals more 😉
The Hammerhead does look great after all your work in the Costa Rica heat. I'm sure it'll make a brilliant cruiser. Shoal draft combined with stability at sea is a wonderful combination, as I know after decades on my K39 .Like your earlier comment, I'd leave the fwd windows closed. It won't always be as hot as CR!! Those panels are massive, pres the regulator is closing them down most of the time?
Thank you for your input. Yes the batteries are full early on but we think that’ll change when we’re on passage. Not sure they’ll keep up then so it’ll be interesting seeing how things work out.
@@TrimaranSpirit yes,, Bill Shuman, my phone piked the wrong Bill. My god I cannot believe how somebody can trash such a beautifully build boat. Glad you are bringing her back to better than new. Do you know what happened to the original cockpit owning? He made it like an airplane wing, cotton and dope over a sturdy aluminum frame. Stopped the sun, not the light. Bill was a talented builder, you got yourself a serious boat.
