Thank you Dani. I love this time of year, when all the birds and animals begin to "celebrate" spring. In a couple of days, the bushes around that field will bloom with little white blossoms and the honeysuckle vines that grow on them will all come out and the smell is as close to heaven as I can get, and still be here on earth. :)
theresa jurrus - Sorry that I haven't seen this until now... RU-vid didn't notify me that there were recent comments. I love that old dog! And he is REALLY old now! 17+ years old! Neither of us can muster that walk now, but we still enjoy each others company. Thank you for watching!
What a wonderful video Ron! Just what I needed today as I am taking Easter Day off just to relax and to enjoy what ever God brings my way. This video was like fining a precious hidden gem. I have always wanted to see what Rascal looks like, and what a fine little "man" he is. Sure is loving his walk and leading the way for bot of you! What a special friend you have there! The wonderful sounds of nature just set it al off to perfection! Giving it a thumbs up for sure!
Thank you, Rose. I just realized this video was made exactly a year ago today and Rascal and I were taking that same walk again today. He is a little slower today than he was in this video, which worries me, but I thank God for every day He gives to us together. Time is a strange element of our existence. It bends and changes everything around us constantly. Fourteen years ago, Rascal was a little puppy, all wiggly and full of himself, now he is a mature and very intelligent friend, spending his last years along side me. Some have questioned if there is a dog's heaven... Well, if there is, I just hope God allows me in with Rascal.
Thank you, Laura. ♥ I was 'JUST NOW' thinking of my beloved friend and contemplating finding the video that I made of us walking together. (I had forgotten about uploading it here..) Rascal had gotten so old and feeble (blind, deaf, sick), that I was forced to let him go on without me, this past week..... I miss him so much. He was my best friend for 18 1/2 years. This morning, I had been thinking of just who he really was... and all pets that are deep in our hearts; I truly believe (Rascal showed me this), that they begin as animals (birds, horses, dogs, cats, etc.), and then are filled with a pure, loving spirit that somehow "chooses" to be with us. Their insight is far above common animals or even other humans. They truly become part of us. Anyway, I really miss him and this morning it was bothering more than usual... I thank you for your "timely" response, that I may watch this video of one of the most special souls on this planet. May God be with you and the 'special' souls that have blessed your life. ♥
So sorry to hear the sad news. I was watching a program last night and at the end a mother had passed and left her children behind. There were so many tears. The scene at the church did my heart good when the gospel choir was singing and they sang the words "if you knew where I was you wouldn't shed a tear". Yesterday would have been my mothers 93rd birthday. I was then wondering, yesterday, about all of my YT friends that live down south and hoping that everyone survived those storms. I have had cats and dogs (family members) that I have had to set free from their pain and suffering. It is as difficult as saying goodbye to a parent. Thank you for your reply. I now know that you are still with us in the flesh. Everyone else will always be with us in spirit. Bless your dear heart .. Sunday greetings, dear Ron ..
