Today I just landed in Santo Domingo and I went straight to Zona Colonial because I heard they had some of the best cigar shops in all of the city. If you find this video informative please like and subscribe.

Seems expensive for non brand cigars. 8500 pesos for 20 is about $7.6 per stick . I can get cheaper for non brand in Dubai. These cigars should be maximum $1-1.5 per cigar if you go to the source. Granted it’s a nice shop, nice salesman who says they are the “best” , rental for shop etc. double it for tourists . Still no more than $2.5 per stick

Yes they are a local brand but I believe it being in a tourist area plays a major part in the price I'm sure.

Yup for sure it’s a tourist price. Haggle and get it lower. Walk away and see what he does. Done that time and again and the price drops. You are literally cash walking out the door. It could be floor scrapings and he will call it the best. He gotta feed his family.

Yes. I call it scam non brand cigars cost 3 maximum. Even non band cigar cost like that. You can buy branded good cigar for 350-400 pesos.
